I have no intention on going to a crowded tourist trap or overpriced amenities as Boracay. Been to Bali Indonesia which was a crowded place of overtourism especially the beach. However the people in Indonesia are so friendly and helpful. Living in the Philippines, focus on Tagaytay with alot cooler weather. Enjoy.
Hello there dear sir/madam. honestly ur video was very helpful to me as i am heading there in 10 days. I HAVE ASERIOUS QUESTIONS THOUGH: WHICH HOTEL DO YOU RECOMMEND ME TO STAY IN BORCAY? DO I HAVE TO BOOK IN ADVANCE ? OR WALK IN RESERVATION?
Hello! Thank you for watching, we are glad to hear that. First hotel we can recommend is the one we visited: Hue Hotel at Station X Boracay Review th-cam.com/video/L5P9-8wAbrk/w-d-xo.html Overall if you want a good hotel for a good price it’s better to book in advance as you will also have the most choice. And there is always the option to walk in reservation but you don’t want to waste time the first few days. So we would recommend if you want to do walk ins to book at least something for the first few days, explore the island and then find an area with hotel that you like and do walk in reservation! Enjoy your stay like we did!! 👍🏽
Yes that’s more than enough under normal circumstances. Try to make sure(if you can) you book connecting flights on the same ticket. That if something goes wrong they will rebook you. Good luck with your travels 😃
@@yesandexplore ok thank you! we're travelling from the US so I'm just worried that if our international flight is late, we might miss our flight from manila to caticlan. thanks again
Hello! If you buy the same package like we did from the airport then you can pay with credit card but if you DIY the whole thing then it’s mostly cash! Good luck 😃
Hey!! We arrived about 2.5-3 hours in advance at terminal 3. Regarding the travel tax we are not sure what you mean but for Boracay you have to pay a terminal fee (150 pesos), boat fee (50 pesos) and environmental fee (150 pesos) but since we booked the transfer this was all included!
@@yesandexplore Thank you for your reply. Cool cause my friend said maybe 4-5 hours in advance and omg... Ya in different videos from Terminal 3 , there was a Travel Tax counter, but maybe the tax is only for citizens and not for tourists.
No problem! We are happy to help :) after some quick research I can confirm that as a tourist you do not have to pay travel tax, unless you stay in the Philippines for more than a year! Hope you enjoy your trip!!
No problem! The price was one way only but we found the same company, they had an office on the island (many others also). We went there and booked it!
Hey! It all depends on how long are you staying, what you want to do and if this money includes accommodation! If it’s just food and you eat local plus alcohol from 7/11 you can… but drink alcohol and western food then it will be harder!
It’s important that you book a hotel before you go to Boracay and pay the fees on the dock before entering, then it shouldn’t be a problem! But always check tourist office as rules can always change! Good luck!

Great!! Hope you enjoy your trip like we did 😃

would you say 4-5 hours at MNL is enough to be on time for a flight to Caticlan?

Did u guys bring big luggage? 😅 I'm planning to bring it since I'm coming from LAX 😂.
Yeah suitcase and big bags! All
No problem, someone will help you carry it on the boat (for a tip of course 😉 ) or carry yourself!
About to make this trip but it's difficult to buy flights online did you purchase your flight in advance? Or did you buy at the airport?
Oh that’s great to hear! We booked our flights online through the website of Cebu pacific. That’s easiest thing to do!
I just went to airline websites and it was easy. Philippines Air was really cheap P3000 each
how long did it take you to get to your hotel once your flight landed in boracay?
That all depends on some factors. Our hotel was close to the harbour so it was 2 hours. Most of the time it was waiting 😂
@@yesandexplore eek good to know! Thank you! I'll plan to arrive in boracay around noon!
From manila, how much did you spend all in pesos?
Hi, do they accept card or must you pay cash

Hi Guys😊,
How many hours in advance were you in terminal 3? And i read about any travel tax, how much is it?

Enjoying watching this video. At least I have an idea. Thank you...
Thanks this video was very helpful :)
Did the price include transfers back as well? If not how did you arrange a transfer back to the airport?
No problem!

@@yesandexplore Thanks very much for your reply:)
How long the ferry?
Super fast around 20-30 mins! Easy peasy 😃
Is it enough to bring 25k pesos to boracay, 2 people?

@@yesandexplore thank you!
how much the boat going to boracay ?
We took the door to door package at the airport and for foreigners it’s 1050 pesos for foreigners and 850 pesos for locals!
Is it possible we could be refused travel if island is full ?

@@yesandexplorethank you. ❤
How long did it take from MPH to your hotel.
It took us about 1,5 hours because everything went super smooth and we had little waiting times! Also our hotel was not to far away from the pier :)
Seems like a lot just for a beach....
Oh it’s a lot and it’s worth it! One of the most beautiful sunsets, blue oceans and white sandy beaches.
It's called adventure,😊
