    Great ideas, Phil!
I like red lentil pasta for a cold pasta salad. It holds up well made the day before and doesn't get mushy (like chick pea pasta 😑).
And Sweet Baby Ray's sugar free BQ sauce is my fav! You can't even tell the difference and hits the spot.
    Have a happy safe 4th! ✨️✨️✨️

For the hot dogs, it's "kay-em" (like pronouncing K.M.). I love that they're made in Massachusetts!

I really like the schär hot dog buns. Soft, steamable in the micro or grillable. Of course, I put two hotdogs in each bun because they are still too big.

I appreciate these tips! And thanks for letting me know there's a Canyon BH burger bun! All I've seen in my area are Schar and Udi's.

I don’t mind the Schar brand hot dog buns - they usually end up splitting in half but you just sandwich them on either side of your glizzy!

Franz hot dog buns are the BEST! You can make a sizeable sandwich out if them too. Unsure if this is Pacific Northwest specific.

Smart Bun burger buns are almost too good to be gluten free. Smart Baking Company knows how to bun. They have plain and sesame buns! 11/10

@@PhilHatesGluten I just double checked the ingredients and they apparently have whey protein isolate, so they're not dairy-free.

At family gatherings I always ask if I can serve myself first before things like glutinous buns are opened. No risk of CC from people moving around utensils or dropping crumbs. Means I can't go back for seconds, but now the family I din with the most automatically let's me go first.

If you have access to a Trader Joes I recommend their TJ brand hamburger buns. Can also hold a small size hotdog!

I use the schar sub buns for hot dogs. They're not great but better than the UDI's. I've never seen the Canyon ones around here.

in WNY we love our vinegar based chicken marinades, so for a little bit of zing add some to your Italian dressing soak , if you like that little extra bite its well worth it!
