The BBC had this fantastic image of the hurricane seen from space, where it appeared like an Evil Eye in the white cover of clouds, spinning at around one orbit/second and with flashes erupting from around the eyewalls...I guess it must have been a timelapse, but it looked both frightening and very visual.
