I followed Sunil bhai’s PSA of rejecting on money and booked Saga on the first day as a genuine customer and I still have no road map on when I’ll get my car.
This was my first ever car purchase in Pakistan and honestly it’s been a very bad experience. I feel cheated and it is sad to see Pakistanis who refused to pay on money are suffering whilst dealerships and investors are enjoying and profiting from this car.
kun k yahan sab dealers haram khanay baithay hain... unfortunatly.... boycott all car dealers new/old, all of them are scammers playing with your need.
Pakistan's auto industry just isn't a consumer's market.

Al-haj group is very incompetent group of people, they play and cheat with their customers. You are a well known vlogger, hopefully your voice will be heard and help other unfortunate customers of Proton and FAW cars.
Every company give you a tentative delivery time at the time of booking and they follow it. I myself have booked Civic and corrola in past. It take sometime but it was delivered to me before the company tentative time which was commited to me. Secondly if you have paid 100% amount and it is more then 2 months you are eligible to receive a fine from company every month as long as it takes.
Bro, who knows that your car arrived and were sold out to customer who was willing to pay own.
Thats how own system works, you're given the vehicle that was originally booked on someone else's name. Hence own customers don't even get original invoice (purchase document) since that invoice will be on the original owner's name.
Suneel bhai repeatedly raised this issue that why customers don't get their invoice while taking delivery of the car.

If official dealership is demanding OWN then it is illegal and government must take action against Islamabad dealership of Proton. Without strict measures of the government this Laanat of Own will not go away.

Proton had entered Pakistan market in 2007 with Saga and Impian. Suneel Manj car Knowledge has failed. He shoyld check pakwheels 2007 fourms on Google
Proton has hydraulic power steering not electronic power steering.
Almost all hydraulic power steering pump make noise on full turning radius.
But do check oil level just to be sure.
Abhi tk sari gariyo mei yahi arahi thi. Dont think it would be any issue for local mechanics
Hydraulic power steering is another reason of poor fuel average. It causes strain on engine

I also thought that what he said about power steering was incorrect.
Hydraulic but even more lighter than normal hydraulic power steering . Plus, it doesnt make any sound except the engine will go to higher rpm (1.1k rpm on meter)
I think alsvin is way better than its competitors even the base variant is better than others

In this review of the base variant of Proton Saga the owner was taking about pros and cons, and despite cons is overall a good car given the price. Is a good review people will be aware what they are getting given the price.
And given the price of course it wont be a rolls royce.
I think is better to get the ace variant according to the expert review of Suneel.
About the noise during rain you should talk with the after sale service because Suneel and Farhan didn't mention it, but they were surprised by silent on board.

Make sure the eco assist in the meter is on and you will be fine. Every car will consume a lot of fuel when you press the paddle harder

REGARDING ONE OF THE PROBLEMS THE GUY IS FACING: the breaking noise the car is making when driven in rain is due to wrong installation of exhaust piping. The pipe is loose, or installed too close to body or one of the rubber pieces holding the pipe is broken. When water splashes on the pipe, the pipe causes it to evaporate instantly causing the pipe the vibrate.
Would appreciate if someone conveys this to the person and solves his problem.
