You get Heyes when racing in the rain . Time for a Chivas , Scoulyer ! Amaroo had a local Gardner looking after the grounds . Not easy being a Willing contender that day . I couldn't predict the winner , I drew a complete Blanco on that . Could someone please Phillis in ? It was a Pretty good effort by all . Wood ya believe it ? Surprisingly the race is absent a Sayle . I Neil before the lot of 'em .

Neville Hiscock, unfortunately died in an accident at Killarney in February 1984, his brother Dave, also raced in South Africa during the eighties.
