I think a problem the LEC has is that they wanted those big fan bases to come in (KC, Ibai) and the did nothing to make them fans of the league as well as the org. If KC came in in 2022 or so when the production and everything was at its peak they could have gained some amount of sway over these groups but the way it is now there is no incentive for a group of fans to get out of their bubble at all. Even worse is that the orgs/streamers and the LEC themselves seem to sort of cater to the most unhinged fringes of these fanbases by either egging them on in the case of Kameto or being too afraid to do anything to admonish them in the case if the LEC because they are afraid of loosing them (even tho they never had them in the first place). That creates this sense of entitlement that because 'we are the biggest fanbase' and 'we have the blue garden fence' and so on they should be allowed to do whatever and if anyone criticizes their behavior it can never be because they're wrong, it's always because 'everyone hates French people' or 'everyone is against us' or 'they just hat our success' or something like that.
