The witch that talked with Cersei was a different witch. She had powers more like Bran, from the old gods. The red lady gets her power from the lord of light.
Yeah, Melissandre weirds fire magic. Maggie the Frog wields earth magic, the Night Sovereign weilds mainly Ice magic. Everyone has to use blood, since it's usually the price for magic.
Season 6 time!!! I'm so excited. A couple of the best episodes in the history of tv in this one (being intentionally vague here, nobody spoil which ones in the comments or replies pls )
Good catch! I didn’t make that connection. Karma definitely came around for her. I wonder if George Martin intentionally set up that foreshadowing (I don’t know if Myrcella died in the books)
@@brandonmason388Myrcella is still alive in the books but was badly maimed by a character named Dark Star who is the bastard nephew of Arthur Dayne, in a failed murder attempt in a plot set up by Doran’s daughter Arianne to instigate war with the Lannisters, Arianne is also Dark Star’s lover and from my understanding Dark Star was acting of his own volition when he slashed Myrcella’s face (haven’t read the books in a while) and he is on the run now in the books lol also in the books Oberyn’s lover (whose name I forget, I think it’s Ellara lol) actually doesn’t hold any resentment for his death, only the Sand Snakes.
I know people feel conflicted about the later seasons but personally Season 6 is my favourite and has been ever since it first aired. Objectively, I think Season 4 is the best season from an all-around perspective, but Season 6 is my personal favourite to watch! I don’t even dislike Seasons 7+8, my biggest issue with those seasons is that they cut them. They needed a full 10 episodes and perhaps even a Season 9 to end the story properly. In my opinion, mine and most people’s issues with Season 7+8 (minus some valid criticisms on continuity and plot choices) wouldn’t exists if they had given the storylines enough time to develop and play out. Agree it would have been the perfect amount of time for each character to have. It may also have been enough time to throw a few surprises in there like Lady Stoneheart etc@@boogabuga7657
Honestly, I like season 7. I know people rip on it but I never really understood why. Every season has its flaws in someway, but I never really noticed the show going downhill at that point.
@@jaylaydI think it’s still very good but there’s quite a few errors not really in the straight writing but more in the stuff like travel time being near instantaneous, casterly rock and high garden not making much sense, etc
Guys, the Prince of Dorne had gout. It's not crippling. Basically, his foot swells sometimes to like twice it's normal size and hurts a lot. When it's inflamed he can't walk without help and a lot of pain, but when it's under control he can walk. It's a kind of arthritis. It's caused by eating too much shellfish, drinking too much beer, and eating too much sweet stuff. It used to be called "the rich man's disease" because it's pretty much impossible to be poor and have gout. You don't see it much, but actually it's on the rise because more people can afford a rich diet.
The part where Ja and Dario find the ring, they looked at the horse tracks and noticed they stopped at that spot in a circle. That's where they surrounded Dani and she dropped the ring
Did you know your apartment has white walkers in the background. In previous videos I’ve seen a white figure floating around behind you. Unless it’s a haunting. Haha.
You would have found Daenerys' ring; the hoarde was circling her where she dropped the ring. You would have seen a big circle trampled into the ground, with the ring in it's center.
Naw Cersei's witch was like a fortune teller turned reclusive forest witch or something. They _did_ both use blood magic; she tasted Cersei's blood and Mel used two bodies; but Mel also birthed a shadow demon with Stannis' ... "not blood"; and also Mirri Maz Duur used blood magic, and arguably so did Dany [I think in the books it's more certain]. So that doesn't actually mean much as far as them being similar. And it's not a spoiler, the books actually mention a few things about Cersei's witch, though I haven't read 'em myself. As for who or what Mel is, ya know, who knows and who knows if it even matters, but Cersi's witch got more details in the books and she's a pretty standard low stakes bloodmage as I recall. Just kinda out in the boonies makin some love potions and "morning after potions" and whatnot

Season 4 is always the best imo, and its not even close in terms of writing, but I will say that S06 does have some nice pay offs, which are worth the wait.
Correction, not strong women, stupid women rule Dorne now. Thing about this particular drastic change in the Dornish storyline is the Dornish would never allow Ellaria and her daughters take over. Firstly, Doran had like two other children with the original heir in the book being his first child, Arianne Martell, not his first son which is the only child he had in the show. Power would have passed to her as the Princess of Dorne. Secondly, if we follow the show version, the nobles of Dorne would have them rooted out of Sunspear within a week. They may not discriminate against bastards in Dorne, but Ellaria is merely the wife of Oberyn, her taking power would cause great unrest and a rebellion would happen. Second, even if one of Oberyn's daughters became the Princess of Dorne, which would be possible. It would not surprise me if House Yronwood, the second most powerful house in Dorne that very much dislikes the Martells, would likely strike seeing the weakness of the Martells and overthrow Oberyn's daughter.
They kinda did Prince Doran dirty in the show. Bro was making moves in the books but the show made him seem lile he really didnt GAF. Theres also a lot of the Dornish plot line that just isnt in the show and Myrcella isnt killed….yet anyway
