If you ever find yourself in a bear jam I suggest asking to play the bass. Usually their paws are to clumsy to keep on beat so they are appreciative when you can blast out a funky riff. Also don't make fun of their singing unless you want to get mauled.
Everybody should be required to sit and watch this before being allowed to enter the park. It needs to be reproduced in Spanish, French, German, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Arabic, the list goes on.
I have been a wildlife enthusiast my whole life. I was taught respect for animals at an early age since my DaD would take the family to the upper Provo River in the Uintah National forest, Utah, so he could go fishing every chance he got. DaD took us to Yellowstone back in the day (1960's) when there was little regulation on food and garbage. A lady ran straight into our cabin with a bear chasing her, she slammed the door and locked it. My dad and I were out by the car when the bear ran up, then lost interest when he could no longer see the lady. THAT was a scary, close call and gave me new found respect for bears. Humans are so self centered they don't seem to understand this is the WILD ANIMALS HOME and we should treat them with the same respect we would expect if someone was in our yard at home. Watch from a distance, count your blessings, and give the animal the right away and respect they deserve. Don't disturb them, and heavens, don't touch them or try to take them with you. A friend brought his son with a "pet" Horney Toad (horned lizard) to me because it seemed to be dying and wanted me to "fix" it. They found it here in Utah in the wild and took it home. They were trying to feed it lettuce. Utah's Horney Toads have a special diet of only ants. I told them to let it go and don't ever let me hear of that happening again since it WILL die and that is their fault.
