I for sure will try this one my Addiesdive h3-2 watches. I got one blue one original and one black which I removed the cyclops and fitted a TMI vh31 movement. Added green/white lume in the date window, looks a little weird but better than just "black it out" with some gloss black paint. Also swapped out the black bezel insert after loosing the pip, replaced it with a steel "yacht master" insert. Also brushed the polished bracelet, I just hate those polished center links!
Great technique, if you had a Daytona you could remove the "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" and make that dial far more attractive and also send the Rolex fanboys into a frenzy. That could turn out to be an expensive joke though
A definite improvement imho. I have a few Addiesdive watches and, if given the option, would have chosen to have them with the mask logo but without the name. I would never have the courage to try and remove it myself though... I also have one of their sub homages with the date magnifier; the watch would also be much improved if it did not have it. Despite all of this I love the brand and will buy more if they produce new models. I will only ever buy quartz versions after getting a massively inaccurate (and expensive) NH auto from them. It is so bad that it is unusable. Learn from my mistake...
Thank you. Useful as I like to build my own watches, and don't want a Seiko/GS/Prospecs logo on my watches, which so many aftermarket dials seem to have. Even the ones that claim to have to have "no logo", even after confirming with the vendor there is no logo (the it arrives with a damn logo - like today! Which is why I found this video).
Just ordered a sterile version (no logo or brand name) from Steeldive themselves. Thanks to your video instructions, I now know how to open up these type of watches. Can always add something later if it ends up looking weird or unbalanced. No removal of previous logos with the sterile dial option with a Steeldive.
great video. solves one of the main issues of these watches. Which models were those where the alcohol left marks on the dial? It would be good to knoq
I actually did a new video that shows how to remove the cyclops. How to remove watch logo and brand - Addiesdive AD2050 th-cam.com/video/EY41OZRhygM/w-d-xo.html
Hi , thanks for the video. I need to try it on a Corgeut printed dial but am unsure exactly what you mean by "alcohol". Would methelated spirits do the trick [ which apparently is alcohol based ] or is the stuff you used different? Thanks.
would this work on the white dial escapement time h0300? i'm dying to remove the logo but i'm also worried that the black letterings of the logo may smudge on the white dial and ruin it
it could ruin it. I’ve only done it to the watches pictured in the video. I did it to a Mini Focus watch and it smudges the dial paint, removed the clear coat. I’d rather have a smudge than the name on the watch.
Addiesdive does not agree!😀 These are probably the best sub homage for the money. I have 3 all purchased for less than $30 each. Buy them while on sale.

Great VId....I wish all the watches on sale had all their details on the case back of the watch and left the faces clear.
A definite improvement imho.

I also prefer quartz. I already have enough nh3x movements. Wish they come out with more quartz versions of other styles.
Have you considered trying your hand at regulating it? If it’s so bad that you don’t want to wear it, it may be worth experimenting on!

Why would you want to do this this though
They don't offer the option without logo

It was Berny and Escapement Time watch. Berny actually stripped the dial paint.
I did this to my Rolex and it depreciated by $10,000 immediately!
Very cool, and simpler than I anticipated!
Great bro, if you can put a video of removing the cyclops, that will be great 🙏

You can find 70 to 90% alcohol at a drug store like Walmart or CVS or Walgreens.
Have you tried this on any pagani designs?
Hello I have the exact same watch
The 6 o clock marker is crooked,do you think is fixable and if yes how can I fix it.
Thanks
🙏
You’d have to open it up and nudge it a bit. It may fall off and require you to re-glue it.
Can you please make a video on how you add your own logo?
Will add it to my todo list when I have time.

Hi Ken,
Can you do that on my watch?

Let me know.
Please and thank you

Is it possible to remove logo from AD2030?
?
Do it on a steeldive

Well done you can now sell the watch for $20 more.
Imagine if they did this themselves I would happily pay $20 more for their watches
Why? ...........
