Great job Heath, of putting my favorite Dude on the bite. He was the King Slayer on that trip! Thanks Avi, for showing us how it's done! Awesome! Thanks for another good one Heath! ~Chuck in CO
Hi Chuck, Thanks a boat load for watching. Yes sir, a King Slayer he was. We had a great afternoon and a successful first Kingfish outing of the season. With any luck, there'll be more to come. Avi says "Hello Chuck". Thanks again for always being here and supporting the channel, can't thank you enough. Truly, wouldn't be here without you. Tight liens & take care ;)
Thanks a boat load for watching. Yep, it's that time of year... get the team back on the water. I do better and have more fun when I'm with them. The girls, I had to triple their pay, and they still need some coercing... The SLAYER is always ready... Heck, he's got more money in his bank account than me anyway. Thanks again for always being here and supporting the channel. I couldn't do this without you. Tight lines & take care ;)
Hi Heath. Solid video and step by step instruction. Really enjoyed how you pointed out the difference between using braid versus mono. I recall years ago trying to break the planer with mono and not understanding what I was doing wrong. Your videos are great for anglers of all levels. Newbies can learn and experienced people can confirm!!! Also great to see your son enjoying time with his Dad. Thanks again. Jay
Hi Jay, thanks a million for watching and sharing. For years, I too, fished a planer with mono... A planer sets way easier with mono, but tripping it is impossible. And the connecting point of main line to the planer always has a great deal of pressure on it... That's why I preach about using braid. Family fishing is way better than any solo trip. Me and the Slayer had a great afternoon together, and he put a hurting on the kings. Thanks again for always being here, supporting the channel, sharing, commenting and complimenting. I truly appreciate it, and couldn't do this without you. Tight lines & take care ;)
Thanks a bazillion for watching. Me and the SLAYER had a great afternoon. First, successful Kingfish trip of the season. It's pretty safe to say Winter is over. Thanks again for always being here and supporting the channel. I can't thank you enough. Tight lines & take care ;)
I really appreciate you and your videos, I’m always learning something. And I’m very entertained by way you just keep it simple and explain things in a calm manner.
Thanks a million for watching and leaving some excellent feedback. I truly appreciate it and your support for the channel. Keeping it simple is the way to go, I really believe that anything broken down to it's simplest components is not too bad. Thanks again. Tight lines & take care ;)
Thanks a boat load for watching. The Slayer did put a hurtin' on the kings that day. We had a pleasant afternoon, good weather, and a successful first kingfish trip... doesn't get much better. Thanks again for always being here and supporting the channel. I truly appreciate it and can't thank you enough. Tight lines & take care ;)
Hi Chris, Thanks a million for watching. Yes sir, me and the Slayer had an epic afternoon that day. The fish had no chance and he had a great time fighting them. That was the most animated I've seen him getting the fish to the boat. His reactions made the whole trip truly memorable. Thanks again for all your support, sincerely couldn't do this without you. Tight lines & take care ;)
Thanks a million for watching and leaving some most excellent feedback. 100% accurate, successful first King trip of the season, hopefully, with many more on the way. Thanks again for your support of the channel. I truly appreciate it. Tight lines & take care ;)

Hi Alex, thanks a million for watching. Kingfish are always great fun. When the bite is hot, they're fairly easy to pick off, especially on the planer. Thanks again for always being here and supporting the channel. I truly appreciate. One day, we will get a trip done. Thanks again. Tight lines & take care ;)
Hi Heath, Great "How To" video. There's always something to learn from your videos and there fun to watch. It's nice of you to share your fishing skills with us. Did Avi grow 4 inches taller since the last video ? I think the "Fish Slayer" looks taller. Hope the family is well. Take care and good luck this season, Mickey
Hi Mickey, thanks for watching. Yes, Avi is getting taller by the second. I think he's right around 6 foot, maybe 6'1"... but yeah, he makes me look short. We had a great afternoon together, and a successful first Kingfish trip. Winter has come and gone, now the fish will move back in and starting foraging heavily, getting ready to spawn. The family is good, hope the same on your end. Thanks for always being here, couldn't do this without you. See you Thursday. Take care :)
Well done, need some help learning the best way to trip the planer when you need to check the bait or are heading in. I always struggle tripping a #6 so much pressure on the rod, planer is fighting me all the way. I try to lift the rod and snap downward quickly, works sometimes but not consistently.
Thanks a million for watching and leaving some great feedback. When it comes to tripping the planer, you're gonna want to check out this coming Thursday's episode, where I give a hands-on demonstration on the water of how to do it.... It did get filmed, while making this, but the episode was getting lengthy and it's a whole other topic to cover on it's own. Thanks again for your support of the channel. I truly appreciate it. Tight lines & take care ;)
Thanks a million for watching and asking a great question. I typically use a #6 planer from the company "Old Salty". That's the one that I find produces the most fish. Congrats on your success with the bucktails, sounds like you had an epic day. Thanks again for always being here, can't thank you enough for your support of the channel. Couldn't do this without you. Tight lines & take care ;)
