Welcome everyone! We are Tonella & Corissa, a couple living full time in our self converted van with our two dogs Koda and Cleo.
This week we show you the bluest water we've ever seen as we go van camping at Abraham Lake, in beautiful Alberta. We're soaking up the last of the Canadian sun and taking our puppies paddleboarding before we pack it up ad head over to our next (and last!) Canadian province.

@@BryanConnelly aww goodness 🥰♥️ I honestly try my hardest (Tonella here) to get them out earlier, but something always seems to happen 🙈 - the other day we had to switch spots because we all were attacked by wasps, and then we had the hardest time finding a place to set up, ended up having many delays on the way to our new location (so a lot of work got pushed till later). But I love that the vids goes with your dinner - I think we may keep up with the late posting 😉 have an awesome week Bryan, from all four of us ☺️

@@Wifepack Oh awesome! You'll love the island for sure, so much to see! I'm in Victoria if you guys have time for a meet up, and I can give lots of great recommendations for cool stuff. And the weather out here should be beautiful for a while longer till the fall rain sets in
A little boondocking advice for you , stop washing and rinsing your dishes in the unit , set up a wash table and use either river or lake water , saves a ton of water for using it to drink or whatever
@@BradWhite-o2q this is great advice! Normally I don’t use so much water when doing the dishes, but because we were were going to be hitting a water fill up later that day I was being way more water happy than normal ;). We also use a combination of vinegar and water in a spray bottle to help save water when doing dishes! Definitely great advice Brad!! Thank ya!

I second that more videos maybe on your way to each stop film along the way.
You should look into the bracket that holds your starlink ontop of the van. Then you can use it while driving and you don't have to do that dangerous climb everytime you want to use it.
@@BoriquaBBW Yes, tis good advice, thank you! We definitely thought about it 🩵🙏🏻!! However, we do like the option of putting star link away when we need to, and as it’s quite a big unit and sometimes we need to take the van into tight squeezes (and we’re already so tall) we decided to leave it this way. I think perhaps as well the starlink most people mount is a newer one that’s smaller, but I could be wrong? Regardless, Corissa is a gold medal gymnast for Canada (wife brag hehe), so her balance and monkey abilities are very impressive and less dangerous than if someone like me tried it ;).

@@Transitlady59 it was definitely one of our favourite places - the water was almost Bahamas blue hehe. Thank you so much for your kind words! We are indeed on the road all year long! This is year two of full time travel now :). Last year we headed to Arizona/New Mexico for the winter, as our Diesal van is not a fan of -40 Celsius weather (neither are we 🙈). We will probably be headed that way again this year to ride out the winter desert style :). Last year we were away from family for the holidays but this year we have something different planned… but it’s a suprise ;). Have an awesome week and thank you again from all four of us! 🥰🤗

You guys scare me each time I see you crawl through the window to set up/retrieve Starlink on your roof. Why not just invest in an inexpensive ladder to mount on the back of the van?
@@OgreSupreme Definitely a good idea with the ladder, & we’ve looked at them before! Because we get quite a few people asking why we don’t have ladder, we are going to chat about this and address your question on next Sundays video, cause it’s a good one ☺️! Cheers and thank you for the comment 🙏🏻🌻
