A very useful video. I realised that I was following almost all these steps (without actually being aware) when making my savings and investments. As to free advice, I lost money twice (though small amounts) by heeding advice of friends who were so called financial experts. One more thing, always be prepared for contingencies. Take adequate insurance - medical and life and if possible insure property too. When a bad incident happens, emotions take over and decisions taken then may derail a well laid out financial plan.
I discussed with my Husband all these steps 2 days before,by seeing your videos I became a financial advisor around 80%.Credit will goes to you.Past 2 days he didn't get sleep, may be he will contact you..
Excellent and methodical explanation of Investment process for individuals.I have followed these lines only over last 20 years and I am a do it yourself since beginning.I regularly watch your videos for enhacement of my investment processes.

Brilliant video, I’m one of your silent subscriber. Pls consider making a video on the topic related to inheriting parental property in India for NRIs, challenges , differences in inheriting while parents are alive if they want to make transfer while they r around or inheriting after their departure from the world through their WILL. Also what are the challenges if the parent also settles down abroad while owning the property in India.
@@NRIMoneyClinic Thanks for your reply. I spent good time going through all the video titles on your channel before I made the suggestion but could not find it. Can you please point me to the video title or share the link? Many thanks in advance.
Differ with his views on long term goals. You can make some assumptions and start investments and periodically review for revising assumptions based on updates
You did not comment on retirement Incl 6 months overseas with low inflatn and 6 months India high inflatn ??? NRIs may have this… also How to beat inflatn and FD , if these measures can’t be estimated. Pls comment on invt equity strategy large mid small caps for short and term goals if long term assets should beat inflatn as real estate in bombay for eg in 10 yrs hasnt beat inflation.
The worst thing you can do is buy a new expensive suv, while , say a Tata would be just fine.. an high end expensive car is the worst decision one can make. And then there is constant buying of that damn iPhone, airpods every 2 years
My age is 37.6 years. I have 28 lpa in MF, PF, NPS. I can invest Rs.1,00,000 per month for 86 months. I would like to take retirement at 45 years then. My son is 2.8 years old and I am investing for child education and my retirement. I'm expecting my life expectancy as 80. Could you please do financial planning for the same ?
