What I really can't understand is, that many people don't understand, that Tanos and Sortimo aren't just delivering tool boxes. Here in Europe they fit out your whole van, workshop and such. They deliver many many solutions for sorting things out. Maybe you check one of those out? Regards, Etna.
I do understand that what we’ve done is not for everyone. Tano’s and such style boxes are great for protecting your investment however the downside is that they add a couple more steps to you getting to that particular tool. Those steps are what I’m trying to eliminate. The down side which is minimal is that there’s no blade holder without the boxes. Appreciate the comment Etna
My brothers and I are low-volt contractors and our systems change as we mature/branch out. Started with dewalt tough system and milwaukee pakcout, now we use totes, soft bags, or have a custom build out in the van.
Only a hobbyist so I can't fork out for full price Makitas but I'm definitely planning a purchase of 3 trim router clones. Looking to build some custom 21700x5 4ah lightweight batteries to go with them. All in a fleet of trim routers and batteries is looking like under $150

I use to hate soft bags but in all actuality you can store a lot more in them. Definitely like soft bags over hard tool carriers now.
A van tour would be really nice. Seeing how others set up their vans/trucks that works for them is really cool.
Will do
Used anti fatigue mat for my tracksaw padding - you cut also have a little cut out on the bottom side of that for blades
I believe we’ve used the same mat as what your saying. The hole cut out is genus. Great idea.

You can never have to many trim routers
Looks like Jeff Bridges little brother.
He’s like 8’ tall right? 😀 His last serious on I believe Hulu was excellent.
