You talked about the three webbings you carry. Could you explain the reason for the way you store them and the general use. For instance you said you have the 18 ft. (9ft loop) stored in the double daisy chain and that's generally for victim extrication. What about the 5ft daisy chain and the straight roll?
Great video! Saving Lives is the name of the game. To assist your ability to "Get Low" and "Stay Low"... Quick Feet Balance Tool...Sanddune is position-ally correct simulator for real life Rescue.
Very nice instructions. Would you mind if I used it in a training at my station. Or would you care if we used any of your videos as training aids? Thanks. Good Luck and Godspeed, danofiremano
Thank You Sir, your videos are very applicable to the real time incidents and environment being very realistic on times especially the amount of time you realistically have to bail out, thank you again!!

Hey, I know you have a lot of views and comments, but I just wanted to say thanks for your video. Your detailed information and video-ing was perfect for me to teach my six year old future firefighter. Thanks! The Duleys AKA SemiseriousChefs and #MrNathan #FiremanDuley
Has anyone else tried this harness on themselves? I have found they cause a lot of pain in the crouch when loaded due to the X. Granted a sore groin is better than coffin. Though the x around the arms I do like. Is I have noticed other harnesses that do not have an x. Anyone else thoughts??
Do a Google search for 1 inch tubular webbing - I prefer Fluorescent Green - Which is actually a very bright yellow. To make a 9 foot loop you need a piece 20 feet long. To make a 5-1/2 foot loop you need a piece 12-1/2 feet long. Use a Water Knot to tie the ends together to make the loop. Here's an old video showing how: th-cam.com/video/s6HUWt25LQU/w-d-xo.html
It has both utility and rescue options - For rescue I use it for girth hitching or fastening a shoulder/chest hitch - Sometime referred to as "Fast Strapping" - Which allows you to quickly drag out a victim horizontally and/or up stairs when just doing a grab and go is too difficult.
Very nice instructions, clear and easy to follow. Always appreciate the time you put into these videos!
Top notch videos. Not just professional, but you have a nack for instruction of the material.

great instructional video. thanks!
So how many times have you done this for real??
Simple twists will never decrease the strength of webbing or rope.

Had to do it in fire school, dale has another video where he demonstrates a slightly slower but more comfortable way to make a harness using webbing
Where can I buy these straps..?

Thanks Dale, Much appreciated.
So what do you use the 5ft strap for?

Dale, where do you recommend purchasing the 5 foot strap with the pre-stitched loops on each end?
Supper
very long technique bro
