The only real problem with CRAM vs CRAM is the movement that protects against CRAM also makes hitting a target with CRAM equally difficult. And being a fast, crazy design is always the best for dodging.
Yeah, Anvil's CRAM Mortars are scary. Though I was able to beat it with a 300K (400 now since I upgraded the Flak CWIS it has) CRAM Cruiser (Only once though, was lucky enough to take out the mortars early). Those Mortars drill ships like angry jack hammers.
Is there some way to give the nukes some kind of effective ram, drill, or really small melee PAC so that it cuts into the enemy ship before exploding? If a little melee PAC works, you could call it The Atomic Sword.
As someone who just started playing FTD and really likes your videos, i kinda find there is not a whole lot of content surrounding the neter campaign that is not massively outdated. Although i try to look up specific things that i have questions about it would be nice to see a more "educational" video series(?), explaining the different weapontypes, ideally different types of crafts and basically putting a lot of mini tutorials into a practice pretty much. Is this something that you have thought about doing?
great, i feel like a lot of the tutorials works great for showing the functionality, because i find that most of my designs work a lot better outside of the campaign in testing than in the campaign itself xd
Shameless channel plug, I'm playing through an old classic RPG on my second channel! :D

Onyx Watch getting some much needed buffs and fixes. Their craft actually work now!
Since cram mortars are so much better and there’s new cram options, do you think you’ll do an updated Cram tutorial?
I probably should, yeah. I need to do updated versions of a lot of tutorials.
Much better still doesnt mean theyr good btw! (They are usable against very large slow targets now)
I fully expect them to get nerfed in the future. From a mere 2deg/s turn rate to 8deg/s is waaaaay overtuned.
@@awellner3285 I mean, they're still even easier to shoot down than regular CRAMs, and very much still possible to dodge, so...

Some might say like anvils raining down on you.

Oh yes, and I am planning on doing just that. >:D

Cheers! It's what I've been trying to do recently, yes!
