A relatively new city like Awka has the potential of being planned and developed from scratch like Abuja

Hope they build subways, have stop signs, road markings to keep cars in their lanes, play grounds and parks. And of course freeways not just feeder roads and streets

This is a very good project. I hope there are provision of land for multinational companies/Banks to come and build high rise Flats to make really look like a city of international standards. It will accommodate more people and make owning Flats feasible for average Nigerian by mortgage financing.

Okay, keep up the good job. I expected more detail from watching the video. Like telling or showing us the plans for the city and even the cost of a plot of land there.

If there is not skyline there what us the need wasting scares land? It's high time we start building skyscrapers or high rise mot like that in onitsha. Offices and companies can headquarter their companies there.

There is no reason why AMC should not be planned as a 21st century city with underground drainage system, underground pipes for domestic water, gas and electricity supply, open parks and playground, trees-lined streets, shopping malls, schools, hospitals and clinics, police station, fire service, commercial areas for banks etc. The mistakes of Abuja and Festac in Lagos must be corrected in AMC.

I hope there is provision for parks and pedestrian walkways cuz I am seeing the same nigerian mistakes again. Poor landscaping.
