    Good job! Thoughtful commentary. This is a wholly private development with Anambra state government providing land as equity. ANSIPPA the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency midwifed the deal. Mr. Clement Muogbo, the man behind this project has successfully implemented a project (Correct me if I am wrong) in agriculture, another ANSIPPA deal. I think it's the large scale automated poultry in Igbariam. ANSIPPA is one of the great accomplishments of Obiano and his administration. If they can improve the quality of the roads, especially the width, the finishing, as well as proper drainage (Not haphazard open gutters), he will standout among Nigeria's best governors.

    I appreciate this video. our people have finally understood that its proper to build roads with drains first before dropping houses left, right n center like bombs. I hope the govt will sweep up the unpleasant mud sand off the roads curb and private property owners should be mandated by law to plant turf grass or lawn on their lands to curb dust pollution. I hope all the shanty and shoddy looking houses are destroyed and the dirty unpainted houses served with warning letters for defacing the city... Biko ndi anambra bia nara utari gi ebe a!

    And it’s easy for our people to throw there waste like plastic bottle drinks,sachet water and so on in the open gutter. Some even bring there trash out of there shops and homes and dump it in the gutter which end up getting clogged. But if the gutters are covered with concrete slabs,all these nonsensical attitudes of our people will not be possible. You can’t even park your car without being weary of the gutter or your kid can even trip in the gutter. Sometimes I wonder what is wrong with our politicians that can’t plan a city properly. Even all those red sand on the road will stop if you plant grasses on the open ground along the road or you paved them up otherwise wind will keep blowing the sand on the road.

    • @NedMedia
      @NedMedia  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes that's why it's better to build all roads the same time. It will cost money, but at the end of the day we will be better for it. When a vehicle moves from an untarred road to a tarred one, it brings sand & mud to the tarred one. They should also force trucks bringing sand to construction sites, to wash their tires before leaving the sites or face heavy fines as it is done in western countries.

I guess that Awka will get there someday. Our past Anambra leaders neglected Awka. All it takes to develop a place is good roads and institutions that will draw peoples interest to acquire properties around the area. I think Awka is having a rebirth. There's what our leaders will do to Awka,you will be surprised that people will start acquiring lands even as far as Awba Ofemili in Awka North LGA.
