Wii U is definitely worth it. It is actually my favorite retro console. Even though it doesn’t have that many games, lots of them are amazing, and also I can use it as a wii. So I’m collecting both consoles games in one system and I’m still surprised about new amazing games I didn’t know about. Btw, I just discovered your channel this week and I’m loving it. Great job!
If I were u I rather play normal wii games on wii because soon wii u machines will be hard to get or really expensive if your wii u gets broken, look after it
Haven’t finished the video yet Mike but in regards to Star Fox Zero, I felt the same you did UNTIL I played it COOP. That made it a blast. I either focused on flying the ship and shooting old school style while my partner with the Game Pad focused on being the dedicated cannon Gunner and Vice Versa. This made the game Worlds better. Go through the game with a friend. That is how it feels the game should be played.

I believe Spider-man and Batman Wii U versions have DLC on the disc. Batman, in particular, has the Catwoman stage that is DLC only on other home consoles.
I adore the Wii U. Many people compare it to the Dreamcast but I feel like it's more like the Saturn. I still use it often especially because of the Eshop. It's the best way to play GBA and SNES and N64 games. I played Mario Kart 8 and Smash 4 to death on the thing. As well as the early 3rd party games like Assassin's Creed III and IV. And Yoshis Wooly World is my favorite Yoshi game. Great video, pleasure to watch as always.

Lol, I'm in northern NJ, about 45 mins from Manhattan where the Nintendo World is. A kid traded me a level 100 Venusaur in Pokemon Diamond there so I could beat Cynthia in that game. This was in 08-09, first and only time I've ever been there, gotta go back for sure.

bought a Devils Third today for 29,99 new,.. i thing in Europe is probably not that pricey like in the U.S. Cant wait to try that :D Love this console btw
Two things I noticed you got wrong in your video. The Wii version Rodea: The Sky Soldier was available in the (launch) standard edition of the game, not just the special. …and the Wii U might be my favorite Nintendo console 😉
I ended up lining up at Gamestop to get it the day of release. There were probably 50 people there. I bought the console for an Animal Crossing game, a Pikmin, a Fire Emblem, or a Paper Mario game with the wishful thinking that it would go back to the TTYD RPG format. Boy oh boy was I exceedingly disappointed with the console. It's going to sound super strange, but until like 3/4 of a year later I didn't even have any games for it. I got Pikmin 3, played and loved it, and I ended up selling my console. Nothing else on my list came out at the time. I would have been interested in Xenoblade X but that came out years later. As basically an RPG only kind of guy with few exceptions, the console was more or less completely lacking. From what I heard later the console became more renown for it's digital shop that had a bunch of old games on it. Even then, I prefer to collect physical, so it did nothing for me. I'm happy that some people really loved the console but for me it was, without a doubt, the most disappointing console I'd ever owned. I currently own Paper Mario Color Splash & Xenoblade X just for collecting purposes but never found the desire to own one again. Maybe if I saw it at a garage sale for cheap.

Man… So Jealy of those two Zelda Collectors editions and the Mario Kart 8 one. Awesome Showcase of games! So ones I have that are climbing in price or are somewhat sought after are Wii Sports Club, Wii Party U, Mario and Sonic 2016 Olympics, Game & Wario, and my two big ones, Physical copies of Shakedown Hawaii and Axiom Verge. I was glad I got Devil’s Third Day one from Gamestop but pissed that they pulled their usual, unseal the game and call it new still as a display case. Supper annoying business practice. I also managed to get a Collectors Edition of Xenoblade Chronicles X. Probably one of the best exclusives left on the system. I hope it stays that way too so years down the road, everyone who didn’t give the system a try have to deal with a new Panzer Dragoon Saga issue at least for the Collectors edition. The Strategy Guide for that game is freaking Beautiful as well. One of the last really awesome guides I purchased.

Same, it's such a shame the Eshop hasn't returned on the Switch. The DS and GBA shop on the Wii U is stellar and often overlooked.

I got devils 3rd in 2017 for $50 sealed on amazon me and my best friend conpleted the set and we each got a copy for $50
