Still have 10 away stadiums this year to knock off my list and the traffic on i4 is absolutely unbearable. Driving 2.5 hours one way to go to an empty ballpark can wear on you after a while
AFter 35 yrs in CA I've returned to my home State of FL. OMG. The HEAT. Got an invite to go to Treasure Island tomorrow to sit and bake on the beach. Pass. The heat is enough of a deterrent, but the thought of a trip from Lakeland to Orlando on I-4 makes a trip to Cocoa out of the question. I can love Florida from indoors until October. Feb-May has been incredibly gorgeous but the next 5 months I'll be a cave hermit 10 am to 7 pm. Used to be my 2 pairs of shorts and 4 short sleeve t's were "seasonal" ... now my sweatshirts are all in a box in the closet and I need to go shopping. Can't even bring myself to touch them. LOL!
I also have been here almost my whole life (me and my wife met you and nat at the Buccee’s Daytona Opening. I hate this FL heat more and more, But 6 months of beauty for 6 months of hell
Traffic has been absolutely nuts lately, the worst I've seen in 40 years living in the Tampa area. I swear the tourists aren't leaving this year, every 3rd license plate is out of state and it's fucking MAY.

I'm guessing more of them are retired than ever now and they're just hanging around longer with no strict schedule to follow. As a long time Mets fan, I was NOT happy with the recent sweep by Tampa Bay. Up until that series I was finding a soft spot for the Rays based on watching your videos but that was a horrible showing by my Mets. Keep up the good work; really enjoy all the videos of baseball and beyond.

Oh Adam, I get gas at Sam's Club, and right now in Sioux Falls, gas is $3.04/ gal. Sometimes I just complain out loud either how much you're paying or how little you're paying, depending on where you are. California is usually the most expensive.

I4 has truly become a total nightmare. Years ago the traffic was much closer to Tampa and that 75ish area. Now it starts in west Orlando and just continues to Tampa. It sucks!
Once drank to much coffee and heading east on I-5 was no problem for a few miles east of Tampa....Then bam, traffic came to a stop and we creep all the way to Orlando at 5 mph. I had to pee so bad that I almost just got out and peed along the highway. Made it to an exit rushed to a gas station/convenience store and their was a line waiting to use the rest room. Some nice people let me go ahead of them and I stayed dry!
Pepsi doesn't own Tropicana field they only own naming rights to their products so Tampa and Tropicana field can do and sell anything including coke cola products at there stadium

The worst season in 1978 for the Mets was managed by Joe Torre who managed them post '69 Mets when Payson sold off everything. Funny how the next worst team was Torre's Cardinals. Then Joe ended up with the Yankees managing them with a much better, bigger salary team. Cohen's trying to play big-moneyball like Steinbrenner did in the same period. He's not as good at it. Funny how Cohen is the polar opposite to Billy Bean. Met's have good offense, it's their pitching/relief that can't hold. Look at Diaz in the 3rd loss to the Rays. He's supposed to be the Supreme Reliever? The Art Deco looks like it's getting heat pumps under those corner structures. Didn't that station used to be Hess? I'm guessing Florida traffic is getting worse from Mets fans moving to Florida?
Where was Cowbell Max’ giant super loud cowbell ? Did 1 of the 58 fans in attendance complain it was too loud and interrupting their naps ? Lol. The new stadium should bring in more fans hopefully.

My wife and I went on a trip from michigan to Orlando Florida in August few years ago. I remember it was 103 degrees out for 4 days stright.
It's a dry heat though, right? 😂
