A few worthy notes: I've watched through s3 and heard all the series OP/EDs. I've played most of them on my streams actually (link in description for that). I only reacted to this because it's s4, which I haven't watched because I finished via the manga. As much as I enjoy AoT, I don't want to become "the AoT guy". I like a bit of everything musically and I'm already a terminal weeb, so I don't want to sit too hard in a niche. If you're here JUST for AoT, I've gotta recommend not getting your hopes up 😅
Even though you have already read the manga for AOT, there are lots of great moments in season 4 anime. So I do recommend watching season 4, especially as the final part airs. Certain things of interest may happen in the conclusion arc of the anime, etc.
@@jeanracaillou8171 I would do more but apparently I've gotta be careful. I got a copyright strike from trying to look at his work on Blue Exorcist. Smh Sony JP. I'll look at what I'm able in time at least
Ashes on The Fire is considered the main theme for season 4 since its used so often. The original composer for attack on titan is Hiroyuki Sawano for season 1-3, and while he did do a couple OST for season 4, most of the music in season 4 is done by Kohta Yamamoto. His style is similar to Sawano as both work together often. If you liked Ashes on the Fire, another similar OST in season 4 featuring synth is called The Warriors, which I would put over Ashes on the Fire but its close. Slight spoilers for the series below: Ashes on the Fire can be considered the main theme for Marley or the power of Marley's military, as it usually plays during big military Marley moments. Big spoilers for the series below: The first time Ashes on the Fire plays is in the beginning of season 4 when Zeke drops Eldians from the blimp and transforms them into titans with his scream, causing titans to rain down on the city they are engaging in war with. When I first saw this scene, I could tell I was going to love this OST as soon as the synth kicked in as we see the blimp opening up over the city. The OST ends as the Beast Titan annihilates the navy with bombs that he throws, the ending final synth playing as the navy ships are sinking to the bottom of the sea. It was an exhilarating start to the season to say the least. It does play during some big fights, such as the Eren vs the Warhammer Titan scene when the Warhammer creates the giant hammer to fight Eren. A new version was used in season 4 part 2, called Ashes on The Fire -PTV-, and this played during the Eren vs Armored and Jaw titan fight in Paradis.
Warriors and ashes on fire are like brother and sister. Both gets you pumped after the end. *spoiler* AOTF-s1 is my favorite. That guitar slash brings chills to my spine when war hammer finally falls on the ground and also when falco try to reiner and gabi watches it miserably.
I would recommend listening to XL TT, only in the 4th season version. The composition is called AOTf - s1 P.S. although the original XL TT is also a buzz.
there is also a verson of this same title Ashes on the fire but -PTV- version, its like the updated version. On the attack on titan suite one of the songs on there is actually in the finale of season 4 part 2 but its a different version, more haunting its called attack ON taian [TFSv].
Awesome to see these blowing up. Great work, dude! I've mostly been watching the blind covers, but I'll have to dig into some more of these reaction videos.
I'll still be uploading stream clips to TikTok but safe to say I'm done putting the full versions here. Gotta work that system 🙃 Though now I may have to do the occasional real practiced cover video 😉
It's on my list, but to avoid potential burnout it'll probably be a couple weeks. I don't want to hear too much of a good thing all at once. Gotta vary that exposure or I'll check out and that sucks 🫠
As a drummer who love good stuff coming from Japan, you HAVE to react to " Band-Maid - Freedom (live) ". Absolute beast of a rock/hard-rock all girls band with a killer Drummer, and a neat drum solo in the middle of this specific live performance. As a fellow reactor you will thanks me I guarantee it! Enjoy !
I've been personally following BandMaid for years. Akane has been a modern influence on my play style since I discovered them in 2016. I don't think I've seen that specific song live though, so I may just have to take you up on that :V
since idk what you have consumed I'll just throw a big ol' list, don't feel pressured to pick anything if it doesn't catch your attention ⬤ from persona (anything's great from the franchises on this list but these are just some nice ones to check out) last surprise, life will change, blooming villain scramble version (all of these have a scramble version, it's heavy-yet still funky remix most of the time), daredevil, beneath the mask (this one is more moody than funky, the odd one out of this list) ⬤ from hades scourge of the furies, it's in the blood (fewer recommendations this time because persona can get confusing so more guidance is in order) ⬤ from hollow knight "the troupe master (Grimm + nightmare king)" this is technically 2 songs but there is a reason, pure vessel, mantis lords ⬤ from katana cero (if you like vaporwave music) meat grinder, hit the floor, breath of a serpent ⬤ from celeste (composer lena raine) resurrections, in the mirror, star jump, confronting myself ⬤ and for more aot s4 you have "splinter wolf" that one's a banger, footsteps of doom, the other side of the sea and yes I know this is all pretty popular stuff but you never know oh yeah, also, this list is not in a particular order
I've heard MOST of that. I play Persona 5 tracks on stream all the time haha. It's a personal favorite OST of mine. Persona 1-4 I don't know as many from, but I know the more popular ones. Hollow Knight and Celeste I also know well, the music in those is so beautiful and mystifying in their own right. Admittedly I haven't dug into Hades at all and Katana Cero I don't even recognize as a title so I'll add those both to my growing list of requests for sure. I'll probably step away from AoT for a bit purely to not become "The AoT reactor", but I'll likely touch on them at some point in the next few months. Just don't want to overdo it, you know? Awesome suggestions though, and exquisite taste in funk *twirls champagne glass*
AoT has good music for sure but there are other great composers working in that space. I you do ever want to do more anime ost stuff Kevin Penkin and Kensuke Ushio are both very good in ways different from Sawano. Of course Sawano also has great stuff outside of AoT like his music for Xenoblade X or Gundam Hathaway.
@@CatharsisYT lmfao Im sorry man 😂😂😂, i literally searched jojos op reactions and refreshed it like 10 times, TH-cam keeps showing me the same 15 results every time 🥲, my b I’ll def watch your reaction, new sub man, keep the anime music coming, you seem to enjoy it a lot
There are a lot of really good songs made by sawano hiroyuki (the author of attack on titan ost). I really recommend you watching them/react to them, u will enjoy them. Some of my favorite ones are “light and shadow”, “mkaliez”, “dragon rises”, “red dragon”, “ashes” and “nine line”. There are a Lot more that are also good and I’m sure u will find them or people will comment bout that. I would love to see u reacting to them XD

I'm going to have to disagree with you Ashes hits more to the theme of season 4 than Warriors.

you can listen to OsK V2 ,cause this theme is playing on the best ,,plot twist'' scenes i think
