My knowledge of odd English customs has lapsed, what is the significance of the boars head, do the odd buggers eatit or some such.? I particularly liked the piano part, a lively tune.
I assume it's eaten but I've never seen a pig's head served. At least in real life. I remember seeing one in the film Mr Turner, they were carving meat off the cheek, I think it's good meat.
Oh wow! That was great. I hadn’t heard that tune either but I love the energy. The flugel horn and recorder parts really drove it home. Nice arrangement!
Fabulous!!!!👋👋👋👋👋
Thanks Bill!

THanks Kale. I think what I've learned from this particular one are a few ways to squeeze a bit more out of a very simple tune!
@@midi_in So true. Even the easiest tune can have a fun arrangement.
Very impressive
Thank you PW! I was going to ask you, is the Boar's Head Carol in the red or green carol books?
@@midi_in think it's in the red one
@@midi_in no 107
Sounding great as always. So, Gaudete next week then? :)

Ooh, good choice. My mate just sent me his insane version of In Dulce Jubilo; Melba add that to the request list.
Hey, Sheebee, mind you keep that boar’s head well away from Tory Etonians!
Yeeeah, I tried to keep that story out of my mind.
