C M Agreed. I like 17. But it was never explained (as far as I know) why or how he got to be so strong. Last time we saw him fight, he was on par with Piccolo. Since then he has dealt with nothing but poachers. Doubt that really counts as training. So I do not understand how he became so strong.
@@Sakachi18 Androids have unlimited Ki/Stamina, and 17 was probably training daily to keep up with poachers. I think he was just naturally this strong and never felt any reason to go all out until now

Maybe, but when he fought Cell and got beat by him, he seemed to be trying there, and 18 definitely did her best against Cell as well. So 17 should have been left in the dust by Piccolo and all the others since they DID train and get stronger.

truth seeker I really doubt that. Goku had hidden the SSJ3 because his time on Earth was short (he was dead) and for the reason you said too. But now there's no such limitation and Vegeta is not the same guy as before, so Goku would have no reason to lie now. Specially because now they train together with Whis.

Though the tournament arc was getting tiring, I was pretty pleased with the finale. The 17 and Frieza team up was bizarre, but kinda interesting as they were probably the two Z characters with the least to do with each other.
