I don't think the Zenos have that kind of energy. For being supposedly supreme beings, they don't seem to know much about fighting (or much about anything, really), and if I recall correctly, they complained earlier that things were moving too fast for them to see, which is when the Grand Priest gave them the tablets. So, I think they're one trick ponies - they can do that erase thing, but nothing else.

The reason Vegeta did not give Goku his energy was because he knew that Goku would take time trying to gather up enough energy to shoot it so he was saving his energy to defend Goku while he charge the Spirit Bomb. Excellent the Two EPISODE the one-hour special was incredible amazing and the most wonderful I've seen great was the Goku Transformation and even the Destroyer Gods were surprised they were left with the mouth open the Sontrack that put him as background music when Goku attacked Jiren was excellent epic the one hour special there is now to wait another week for the fight between HIT vs Jiren that will be Good very well Goku very well Ten :-) :-) :-) In addition, a great chapter in this special jiren is really on another level and Goku will have to move to a new stage to see if it does, although it is hurt to Jiren but it is very Complicated was a Great Battle and something is known that Jiren is to the Level of a Destroyer God and I think even more epic was Ending of the end was fantastic

I like seeing Frieza seemingly being a team player in this arc, but I really hope it's just for the sake of self preservation (not getting the universe erased, revival if they win). I'd like him to go back to being a full on bad guy when all is said and done. I loved this 1 hour special so much though, it was full of moments that brought on that nostalgic hype feeling I got when I was 12 years old watching DBZ on Toonami. That moment where Goku takes a step, then with his next step he's just right there in Jiren's face throwing a kick made me flat out giddy.
Jiren is technically the equivalent version of broly even though broly isn't cannon. It took 3 people to beat broly. When Goku was landing punches on him he stood the same way Jiren did un phased other than saying Kakarrot.

Besides, the no killing rule is odd for a tournament in which all the losers are going to be killed anyway (which is why I suspect that the losing universes aren't actually being erased and something else is going on).
