I really thought this is just some common MeatCanyon skits years ago, but revisiting back and I realized its probably one of the most greatest MeatCanyon skit, some nice guy was corrupted by the face of money and turned fatter and could died, this 'parody' is a masterpiece in the written.
This isn't even cursed anymore, it's just depressing.

Hey, I just discovered your videos and I like them, this end represent very well an eating disorder as well as any addictions. My life had felt this way for way too long and I'm ready to cut things that impact me that way. We feel like having an addiction will fullfill the void that we feel somewhere, but in reality the void just extend everywhere.

I had to do the same thing with my addiction about 5 years ago. You are the only one who can help yourself, and you need to be ready to change.
The beginning is the hardest part, cutting ties and bad things out of your life, changing your brain chemistry, and basically changing your life.
It feels so much better afterwards though.
As somebody who is not a fan of watching people eat, this is probably the only one of your cartoons I've seen so far that actually "disturbs" me. Excellent animation and voice work, as always.

It's crazy that no one is even laughing, everyone is just saying how sad that this is kind of realistic.
I was laughing because of how spot on papa meat over here grasped the situation. It's so accurate. This man once had a wonderful life and is now slowly rotting his relationships, himself, and everything around him.
Everything was spot on. The foot stomping every time he took a step. The tantrums over the smallest of things. How he pretends everything is fine and everyone is just against him.
In the end. It's dark humor. You have to laugh at just how ridiculous this situation is. How our brains can make us want to do the dumbest things EVEN IF IT HARMS US. Our brains are tricky sometimes. and in no way would I ever be laughing at his situation directly.
I hope Nikocado Avocado sees this. I hope he can reflect on this video. I hope he can learn to be himself and find a way to entertain without harming himself. I hope he in the end gets the help he needs and in the end betters himself again.

Great work as usual, I like that there seems to be a sense of overall sadness in this one that pervades throughout until the end. As others have said, it really does feel like a message longing to be sent.
I went into this one fully expecting it to more disgusting than usual. I wasnt expecting to be so heartbroken. The part where he's adjusting the picture of him and Orlin, remembering happier times, yet still wants to hope for the future (buying a house together, ect). That and the moment he sits in front of the "fat" camera and presses record. He's resigned to this, even when everything has so clearly gone to shit, because he's immersed himself so deep, what else can he do? The most human I've seen Nikocado, and it's in a bloody Meatcanyon animation 😭 Hunter never disappoints, and never fails to amaze me 🖤

i feel like the picture frame with Nick and Orlin at 1:00 shows their slow separation from each other, as they fight constantly.
This is my descriptive analysis of this absolutely awe inspiring video.
0:00 First of all, starting the video we can clearly see the animation and voice acting imitating this monstrosity's behavioral patterns, personality, and hotheadedness. He cries over a singular piece of food that has fallen onto his shirt, which is true, he does this a lot in all of his videos. The animation further showcases the ways he acts in his videos, like Nikocado telling us that it's "your fault" for the food falling onto his shirt. Another key detail to note is Nikocado telling us that we tell him to "Eat healthy food" and then exclaiming that if he "Eats healthy food" no one would watch his video.
0:36 After Nikocado finishes recording his mukbang video, he goes to adjust his golden playbutton and the picture of him with his boyfriend Orlin, these two objects melt shortly after Nikocado leaves the frame. This occurance of the golden play button melting and the picture of him and his boyfriend Orlin melting can mean two things. One: the golden play button melts into brownish goop, which is kind of disgusting honestly, but it also signifies its not actually something he can be proud of, it's more like well... something disgusting. Secondly, when the picture of Nikocado and Orlin melts into the brownish yellowish goop, him and Orlin seem to drift away from each other, this reflects their ongoing relationship which in fact is not happy at all.
1:20 Nikocado starts seeing everything melting, and a shocked look strikes his face. As he frantically starts touching things to try and pick them up they all melt in his hands, unable to touch the items he goes into a panic. Nikocado tries to lift a dumbell and it melts, which can definitely symbolize something; In the previous parts of the video, we see him try to pick up vegetables like tomatoes, but he is unable to pick them up. These vegetables symbolize his health, along with the dumbell that he tries to lift. He is unable to pick them up since he is so set on making his little mukbang videos, he is so set on ruining his life. Orlin later comes into frame, tapping Nikocado on the shoulder, Nikocado screams "Don't touch me" and clumsily touches Orlin, causing him too to turn into the goop.
2:24 Nikocado has entered this weird goop-dimension, where there's nothing but the vile and putrid greenish yellow fluid everywhere. He looks up to see a chair, a table, and a camera placed like his setup at the beginning of the video. With a look of sadness on his face he sits down on his new "improvised" setup, clicks the goop camera (which also turns into goop), and starts eating the greenish yellowish substance placed on the table. The animation then shows him touching his own arm, which in turn becomes goop. He continues eating and eating with a look of sadness on his face.
Now this entire scene revealed so much to us than the scenes prior. First of all, we can infer this entire scene (Including the world, his setup, and the part where he touches his arm) is what everyone sees Nikocado's world as, putrid, disgusting, vile, and horrid. Let's also note the part where he turns his own arm into goop and eats it. This is literally telling us right in our face "Nikocado Avocado eating himself to death."
Despite everything, despite all of the horrors around him, he still continues eating. He still continues making his videos, not even caring about the fact that everything around him has turned incomprehensible, a vile heap of disgusting putrid substance. He does not care, in spite of being unhappy.
Weird how this is one of the most respectful portrayals of a person meatcanyon has done, aside from how he's drawn

And Nikocado has a humiliation fetish. That's why he does this stuff.
But he's very very self aware. He knows what people think of him, and he's playing a character. He's got qualifications in acting and performing arts, this is his passion, he plays this sad pathetic character. Because it makes him money.
But yeah he's very self aware. Just look at his t-shirts and other mercy he sells. The entire shtick is all tongue in cheek. He knows he can make literally millions of dollars by keeping this character going
Dislikes on TH-cam videos do EXACTLY the same thing as likes. And it's much easier to get mass dislikes than mass likes. And Niko knows this, and so he plays this character, and he's literally a millionaire now because of it.
But yeah, very few people seem to know, that disliking videos does the EXACT same thing on TH-cam videos that liking videos does. It's there to prevent brigading from having a negative effect. Dislikes on a video do the _EXACT_ same thing as likes, they promote the channel to the same extent likes do, they get it recommended to way more people just like likes do, all to the same extent that liking a video does. If counts as equal "engagement" with a video. That's all that matters. If you put a dislike on a video you're actually HELPING that channel, not hurting it. The absolute most damage you can do to a video is to not engage with it whatsoever. You don't watch it, you don't like or dislike the video, you don't make a comment, you don't like any other comments. That's no engagement. So it's the worst damage you can do to a video. If you have already watched it, well you can limit your engagement by just doing nothing else, leave the page, don't click anything cos anything you click or comment on that video is engagement and so it helps them, doesn't matter if your comment is negative and gets 1000 likes. That's 1000 little portions of help and engagement you're giving to that channel.
But people don't seem to understand this and so they mass dislike certain videos thinking "haha that'll show them". It's MUCH much easier to get mass dislikes on a video than it is to get the same amount of likes on that video. That's what makes channels like Logan Paul and Jake Paul are so huge. They deliberately be annoying and controversial dickheads, because that way they get all the fools thinking "haha I hate these guys, I'm gonna dislike the video and leave a negative comment". Everyone falls for it, every time. The Paul brothers know exactly what they're doing. Logan Paul's suicide forest video quite literally boosted his channels popularity and earned him a few million dollars in a matter of weeks, that's not an exaggeration. And so because dislikes are the exact same thing as likes, on a video, that gets their videos recommended to millions of people who wouldn't otherwise have ever seen it, and so they get millions of views. And millions of dollars too, real cash from the ads. It all counts.
Side note: dislikes on _comments_ actually do nothing at all. Seriously. It's purely an aesthetic thing. Dislikes on comments aren't even counted. They don't reduce the amount of likes on a comment. They don't do anything at all. So it's entirely pointless to ever dislike a comment. All that happens is you see the thumbs down symbol fill in completely. Only you can see that.
But yeah dislikes on _videos_ is one of the absolute best things you can do to help that channel out, get the video recommended to more people, and so earn the content creator more and more money from ads.

But when the engagement is 100s of thousands of views to even millions, yea that's still just promotion. It's 100% true that no engagement is the best way to ''cancel'' a channel though.

Also somewhat reminiscent of Erysichthon from Greek mythology. He had a whole grove sacred to Demeter cut down, and eventually cut down this one sacred oak in the grove himself since the woodcutters refused, and as revenge, Demeter cursed him with an insatiable hunger that kept growing. It got to the point that Erysichthon sold away his kingdom, his daughter, etc for food, and got to the point that the king started eating parts of his own body to sustain himself until there (somehow) was no more.

@Tblazer A lot of people who struggle with disordered eating or, in Avocados case, the love for views, find that their mobility and livelihood is slowly stripped away by being overweight. Im speaking as someone who is losing weight after having my binge eating disorder run rampant for years.
Things slowly become more and more impossible to do. Weight can become such a big problem that you can no longer buy clothes at a mall and have to worry about chairs collapsing under you (most you can buy on Amazon only hold up to 300-350 lbs, for example).
You can't fit into an airplane seat (they're small for normal people and laughable for anyone plus of that). Exercising becomes harder and harder (and more painful because you're deadlifting 100s of extra pounds when you stand up). Your energy overall is just so low.
Whatever the reason people have for gaining weight, whether it's money or an uninhibited eating disorder than brings comfort... Its never worth it. The health consequences of being morbidly obese for even 5 years are easily six figures. The damage to the body does not magically disappear... It will taken him a decade to get back to normal, really.
TL;DR encouraging binge eating is disgraceful. And it's not worth it for views, really.

MeatCanyon is overweight, and is currently trying to lose weight. So this is definitely a warning.
Thank you so much Meatcanyon! This motivated Nikocado to lose 89 pounds and go from 410 pounds to 320(even though he got back to 360). He is showing signs of happiness and is much nicer and calmer.

When the photo of Nik and Orland melted, rather than melt together like one would expect of anything melting, the colors representing both of them separated and went in opposite directions. Man, that was very clever and subtle for a MeatCanyon video.
