They are adding higher evolutions in future updates
I prefer scape and run, but its a good replacement for higher Versions since there Isn’t anything else like that
Like the idea of scape an run is that you have to fight the parasites with "creativity" and "strategy" but all that becomes bullshit once EVERY NEW UPDATE they remove counterplay from the parasites. It reaches to a point that it's almost impossible to do anything to protect yourself against them, since they can break blocks, jump highasf, throw blocks, swim fast, adapt to damage, climb, teleport, etc.
What kind of miraculous strategy the devs want the players to come with, if they just keep removing counter play and not adding anyway to combat or get away from the threat?
if they want the parasites to be something you really need to run away from them, so add godamn ways to do that. A beacon that attracts the parasites away from you, flashbangs, pheromones, and even a way to cure the parasite disease and purify your world...
because right now, scape and run is just turning into a lot of bullshit.
If you don't like that parasites are too overpowered, or that they transform and "ruin" the landscape, this mod is a good alternative.
@PamellaCardoso-pp5tr agree. The mod is bullshitly OP. You need to manually adjust the stats of each mob in that mod to your liking. Which can be tiresome. The mod in this video seems pretty balanced.
@@insertname9736yeah the Run & Scape mod became really broken when they first released the infected Endermen & after the dev made the parasite too overpowered & broken
where it is impossible to survived, and heck I even watched a youtuber called troubled boys & they have a hard time killing the parasites mainly the Endermen one.

Maybe WowSuchGaming can make a "Why you wouldn't survive" with this mod, "Scape and run: Parasites" and other mods with zombies or infected mobs.
I don’t know why, just seeing an infection spread through npcs in a game triggers something in my neurodivergent little brain

if you use this pack i highly suggest that you use configs to disable vindicator spawns. they're the most frequent spawn. spawn naturallly from day one, and especially if you have the first aid mod installed will one shot you without warning.

@SmallXplosion with the first aid mod and no configs for damage or spawn modification they can one shot you with iron armor (which takes a shitlong time in 1.19.2)
I just started a world with this mod and some days have passed maybe 20 days or something like that and the only infected I saw was the basic villager, zombie and pillager and like 3 evokers. But never saw the other advanced mobs, why? Only with the base infected I cant craft the cool things, I have to do something so the advanced ones can spawn?

Doesn't seem as broken as 'Scape & Run: Parasites', which is nice. Seriously, that mod is broke AF, and you can see that when you put it in mob battles. A lot of the evolved forms are tougher than most bosses.
Love the little machinima at the beginning, I'm shocked I never came across additional guns for cgm until now!

im kinda confused since i cant combine the living chest plate and elytron. care to explain how to craft the living mk2 armor, does it have certain missions like killing the ender dragon before i can combine it?

This doesnt seem to show the actual 'spread' affect, if that is actually ingame?
From what I know, the mobs just spawn out of nowhere but there is a spreading mechanic from the block/entities section of the video at the end. Then there's the infection through the mob. Currently that's all I know.

Anyone know how much is the " scent " duration ? my base is full of it help.

The duration shouldn't be that long but if that scent attracts more of those infected, the more likely they are going to drop the scent when they die.
