You ain’t kidding on those bolts being a bear to remove. Fighting with one right now. Three came out, but one is stripped. So I tried using a chisel to knock it loose but instead sheared most of the head off. Ahhh, good times. I expect to see carnage once im in. The truck died and is crank no start now with only about 175 psi of rail pressure.
Is it a rebuild kit for the pump or do you have to replace the whole pump? I’ve been getting intermittent, check engine and low power on high demand with code for low fuel pressure
Did you ever figure it out? I'm getting the same. But part of the problem was two bad injectors. Replaced those today, truck runs much better, but code still comes up under full load within about 7-8 seconds and then goes away like 5-6 seconds when getting off the power.
Hi,excellent video It’s very interesting, there’s any chance the you can share the spec you have in the manual, that would help a lot 😊 Thank you, your are great man
@@dalejrfan820002000 sometimes if the injector tube hold down nuts are not tightened down to the right torque specs, when the fuel pressure gets high under a load, the injector tubes will leak where they seat on the injectors. Make sure all those are torqued down. Check the fuel rail pressure relief valve. Check your filters. That’s where I would go.
@@LakelandSepticCompany what about injectors? Were those replaced or the injector tubes disturbed at all? I have seen the injector tube nuts not torqued down correctly so that at high fuel pressure demand fuel will leak at the tube/injector connection. I want to say the torque on the injector tube nuts is 30 ft pounds, but definitely double check that. Check to see if they are torqued correctly or if you get a turn on them when torquing. That could be your issue.
This truck was losing power and throwing the mil/cel when towing a trailer. So at high fuel pressure demand it would not meet requested fuel pressure and feel like it was losing power.
So I have this code Fault Code 1911 Injector Metering Rail 1 Pressure - Data Amber Valid But Above Normal Operating Range Is it the same one? Cummins isx15 Does that mean my fuel pump is bad?
Just left the shop, mechanic replaced fuel filters, thier was algea at bottom of fuel bowl, cleaned it up runnin like a champ, same code! Start there!

Can you point me the right direction for 156 fault code Engine Injector Timing Rail 1 Pressure?

Would this be a good thing to look into on a ISL with a 559 code?
Ty so much this helped out alot
Glad it helped
I need this done on my truck, what should be the labor cost for this type of job?
Trying to get an idea
Ah, I couldn’t really give you a good estimate. It’s going to be a more expensive repair.

❤❤❤❤❤❤ thanks
Can you go over a high fuel rail pressure code? We have one at my shop and I need a little help
What engine and what fault codes?
@@alreyindustries
I don't have the info now. I'll check in the morning.
Im having the same problem. But has a new fuel pump????
Any work done to injectors recently?
The engine was rebuilt. Then it came back with the code. The engine falls on its face . When pulling a load. Just for a second?

Thanks for the information. I will check it out.
Would it be similar on the ISB?
I don’t think so. I think they have a different style high pressure fuel pump. What codes or issues are you having?
@@alreyindustries loss of power while driving. No codes while at idle. Changed fuel rail, actuator and sensor. All pressures are normal at idle.

What are the symptoms for this code?

That looks just like the dd15 fuel pump.
So I have this code
Fault Code 1911
Injector Metering Rail 1 Pressure - Data
Amber Valid But Above Normal Operating Range
Is it the same one?
Cummins isx15
Does that mean my fuel pump is bad?
Pump no bueno
Speak Up ! for gods sake
Sorry about that Chuck. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I’ll try to remember to speak up next time. Numbers 6:24-26 😉
