We love these hikes you take us on. We see beautiful landscapes and point us to take notice of the wildlife that's been roaming around. Then you stop and build a cozy fire by a frozen lake and make us tea and some lunch! We enjoy it so much!! Thank you!!!
Another great afternoon break with Bob, thanks again for sharing your time with us. Looking forward to seeing future cabin projects, and the rabbit hunt with your brother.
I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself, Bob, when you went sliding down the slope. The short skis looked great and didn't seem to need too much adjusting. Can't wait to see you and Jessie out together trying them out. See you next week and hope you got your truck back out. Thanks for the beautiful scenery.
Hi Bob! Your skis look great ! My dad was telling me when he was a kid they used to make their own skis. Guess they had to or they wouldn’t have any at all. Ten boys in that family. I had to laugh. One second you’re showing us a dead shrew in a trap , the next second you’re throwing something in your cup and hot water. At quick glance it was like you might been making shrew tea. Lol
Another great video. You still got few things left to do at the cabin. Nice set of skis you made. Lovely feed rabbit and rice you cooked. Delicious desert to.
Love the dart board cover, thats nice. Great drone shot of you on the skis. So many moose! I like all of your videos but something about this one just had me in awe. TY for sharing!
Great trip to the cabin , always looking better with each upgrade. Rabbit feed looked delicious , skies look like an awesome idea. Hope you have an awesome week
We have wild rabbits on the West Coast but ours have a virus so we can not eat them Sad as I like rabbit and I enjoy when you get some to eat, Wow so many moose, Thank s great video again
Looking forward to the vid making the back country skis. I have a pretty big area where I walk my dog and I think I'm going to be needing these (Northern Ontario). As for the dog, well he hops through it like a small deer. But the human - the durn thing gets stuck in the dad-gum snow.
Hey Bob Always love spending time at the cabin with you watching you work around , hike and hunt rabbits what ever you do is interesting and a learning experience , love watching you cook as well. the rabbit looked tasty . nice backcountry ski's your very talented .the scenery is always gorgeous If I was in the position Id leave where I am in Ontario and move to the east coast Id be in my element . Thanks again for excellent video . happy you were not hurt sliding down the hill.
Grew up in Montreal. Had a cabin north in the Laurentian mountains. Winter travel was snowshoes. Wish I could have had a pair of your wide skis. Wasn’t an option in those days. Great video again. Thanks from Hells Canyon, Frank.
Nice video as always. I like those skis you made. Much more control than your last skiing video😂 Looking forward to seeing your video on making those. 👍👍
The snowshoe/ skis are interesting looking forward to the modifications you make with them for our terrain. When you put the rabbits on wood cook stove it took me back to meals of shake and bake rabbits . Strange winter here for sure Bob .
Watch going down the hill like your videos it feels like we are with you on your walks how can you tell if the moose tracks are a bull moose is good eating your rabbit looked delicious from southern Ontario
You were very fortunate to only have only one tree blow down with the wind we had. I believe I had 5 or 6 blow down by my tent. I'm heading in tomorrow to do some clean-up. Might just take the camera along too. Another great video Bob.. always interesting to watch.
I used to ski cabin to cabin in Yellowstone as a Backcountry Ranger to shovel roofs. Try two poles with your skis. You'll have way more stability and control. They look beautiful. Nice job.
You are hilarious, with your skis great job, great video over all, cannot wait for the next adventure my grandchildren and family enjoy, them, from here in Sherwood Park Alberta ,origanlly myself I am from NFLD
I like your skies. I had a pair custom-made in Vermont. The price was reasonable, but the duty was high-equal to the cost of having the skies made. I wouldn't do that again.
I’d be interested in that video for the skis. I’ve seen people using Siberian hunter skis, which are the exact same thing, but to buy them, they’re cray heavy, and or super expensive. The real ones are just a piece of pine. You don’t need to make them like real down hill skis. You can pickup ski poles at a thrift store for literally a couple bucks. I think they’re worth having for tough spots.
