Not to defend the Irate Gamer when he took obvious inspiration from A.V.G.N. before he finally acknowledged him, and that, but Chris actually initially reviewed the RoboCop games before A.V.G.N. did. His first one was not much to write home about, but was somewhat okay to an extent. This one though was very good, and liked how he went over the arcade games, which were the true gems of the series as well.

The only thing other then the child hacker making the ED:209 loyal as a puppy. Some other scenes that really I think are meant to dumb it down for kids. I mean Frank Millar's version and the vision of Paul Verhoeven served better story telling. Even Mortal Kombat 11, I like Mortal Kombat and I like certain parts that are meant to be with the whole Setting pattern between timelines but it's just become an industry whore now. Jason, Freddy, Leatherface okay. But Alien, Mokap, Terminator... STOP NO MORE.
I thought I clicked the wrong video at first when I saw all the old clips in this video. But that's a smart idea. Helps cut down on production time and the clips aged well and were still great.
Gotta say it is great to see you back Chris. Seeing this show relived again makes us relive our childhood years again. Can't believe I'm about to turn 27. I was around 13 back in 2006. Time sure flies by.
I used to chill and watch this show after school when I was young. Now I'm older and happy I can watch it again after work. And all the lousy haters are gone too!
Because, as a former ’hater’ myself, we didn't like how he was obviously copying the AVGN. But now, he's embraced who he is and does his own thing. It's really redeemed him in my eyes.
The Arcade version of the first Robocop is still one of my favorite video games I have ever play. I spend a "ton" of quarters playing this sucker in the arcades when I was a youngling. The graphics, the music, the sound effects and the storyline are the best. "Thank you for your cooperation. Good Night." ♥
Of all the things to happen in 2020, the Irate Gamer show coming back in full force with higher quality than ever before is definetly among the top 5 best things this year

I think it's great that many NES prototypes are available on cartridges today. I've been wanting to buy some like Robocop vs Terminator and California Raisins.
Yeah. I purchased a copy of Capcom’s Makai Island (an unreleased English translation of Higemaru Makaijima) and it ended up being the first game I had to fix via soldering because the jackass who put the board together soldered the contact for “vertical mirroring” when the game uses horizontal mirroring to render graphics.
Yooo, I used to watch the irate gamer series in the past, I wanted to feel some nostalgia so I looked it up only to find new content, I'm glad to see this series going strong, amazing stuff!
Well when Irate Gamer makes a comeback he does it by burying the hatchet with AVGN and then by getting Buckeroo Banzai himself to shout out from the 8th dimension

Glad to see Peter Weller looking so well. RoboCop was one of the first foreign live action movies I ever saw from start to finish, along with Predator and TMNT (when I was 3-4 years old). Weller will always remain iconic to me.
Had I not watched those original Robocop game reviews of yours back then, I might have skipped buying the Robocop Trilogy box at the store. The one scene in Robocop that scared the hell out of me when I saw it was the infamous Toxic Waste scene! You know, where the one guy crashes into the barrel full of God knows what and comes tumbling out the back of the truck, and then he sees that his skin is melting.

Hey, did you know that there are reproductions of Robocop vs Terminator for the NES? So you could get a physical copy for your collection. I think there's a ROM of Robocop vs Terminator NES somewhere on the internet
I miss Nintendo power. Seeing that issue in this episode brought back memories. I was a NP subscriber and remember having that robocop issue. My parents wouldn't let me see the movie in 1987 cause I was too young, but I had this game and loved it. Thanks for the memories Irate Gamer.

I have great memories of my parents, brother, and I driving out into the country side where there's an airport and they had the Robocop arcade. Back in maybe 1990 or so. We'd go there for a pit stop to grab some drinks and food and my brother and I played the Robocop arcade until we had no more money left..... It really kicked major ass.
There was actually a very popular Robocop game released on the Amstrad GX4000, which was an incredibly low selling console version of the Amstrad CPC computer, that is infamous for it's power supplies exploding on a regular basis. Another reason you probaby never heard of it is because people didn't like top pay around 5 times as much for cartirdge games that were just 100 % identical to casette games they could get for their computer for 3-5 pounds max.
I love Robocop! I remember back in 1991 my dad bought me the nes Robocop. I wanted the arcade version but no way I couldn't get it back then. Now I have it on my emulator:)

One of my favorite episodes of yours man! And I had no idea the first game was a port of the arcade game! But now seeing footage of the arcade game I realized that the Amiga 500 version was a port of the arcade and was very close to it! That music you had playing over Peter Weller when he first spoke in this episode was so nostalgic from that Amiga version. Never owned the NES one as a kid. But damn does the Robocop VS The Terminator on NES look good! The animations and everything. I agree, I’d love to own that unreleased NES version. So sad it was never released. Great episode! 🎉🙏
Irate is back and it feels like time hasn't passed at all, it is also cool to see all the people who gets featured in his videos, though I gotta say them only appearing in videoclips does feel a little "poor man's AVGN"-ish, also because this man repeated himself a lot. Other than that, really cool, and keep doing what you're doing bro! PS. it DOES ache my heart a bit that you now feel it necessary in the opening credits to state "inspired by AVGN" to avoid haters calling you a ripoff again.
