you can close those 'old fashioned' milk cartons with a spring type clothes pin...... Yummy dinner there kiddo, I want to make one more trip up in the Lamar, IN WINTER... thanx Amanda.....
One of your best videos! I think I was at that same campground. 2 years ago and we wanted to get into the park before 6 am. The waterfalls......amazing!
It's really cool to see whole herd of bison swim across a river. Hayden Valley looked beautiful as always. Dragon's Mouth actually roars! I love it and the mud pots. Glacier is beautiful too. Everything is BIG there. Thx for this video. Made me "homesick".
I can imagine that seeing a whole herd cross the river would be incredible!! Hayden Valley was so beautiful at sunrise. I wish I could press pause and have the sunrise be a little slower! Thank you for watching!
... Fastest spotter in the west ..... Gold ?? yep , probably was "Fools Gold " ,, Pyrite .... Actual gold of even that size would not stay on the surface .... but the glitter does get the excitement started ... AWESOME waterfall ,,
Absolutely beautiful scenery in this video! The pasta looked delicious! I will definitely be trying it on my next camping trip. As always, your videos are the perfect balance of informative and entertaining! Thank you so much for sharing!!!
Your channel and content are very special! And Yellowstone is also so special. Thanks for sharing your adventures - I really enjoy your content, your personality and your love for the outdoors! Happy Adventures to you and Nick!
You trying to get those binoculars out fast reminded me of putting on our gas masks in the military, we had 8 seconds to don it and another 3 seconds for the hood.
Loved this video! I took my 2 kids there a few weeks ago and Dragon's Mouth was my daughter's favorite out of the whole park! And we saw Bison swimming too-what a fun experience! :)
@@amanda.outside I’m from the east coast northeast….I was just in awe of this beautiful scenery just amazing….your pasta dish was awesomeness and on a camping stove🙌😊
It was definitely a highlight for me. I love to watch the bison in the park and I've never seen one swim like that. It was really cool! Thanks for commenting Don!
The Longmire book series is set around the Bighorn mountains which is central Wyoming. Super gorgeous, one of the stories visits Yellowstone which is far northwest WY.
Very nice. I might suggest breaking off/ cutting the spinach stems as they can be very stringy. A very professionally presented video. Thank you. (Retired chef.)
Recently discovered your channel and I am so excited to try camping again after all I have learned from your videos. We went for the first time this last weekend and were miserably hot all night. 😅 Do you have any tips for camping with dogs?
This summer I chopped my hair off over my shoulders because it was so hot. It made a world of difference to shedding my body heat. But then again, there are no cold natural waterfall where I live, even when turning in the shower on cold at home. The water always comes out hot. That’s a huge stove that your backpacking with! Are you hiking with van assistance? That’s a lot of perishable food that wouldn’t keep for a day in that heat. If you are, you need to say that up front.
Never been to Yellowstone, and now I feel I must go. I'm on a spiritual journey to visit sacred sites, and this must be one. I can't even wrap my head around how there is actually boiling water coming up from the Earth! Is it hard to get around there after the flood?
Yellowstone really is such a special place. It's incredible to see the earth so active and the animals roaming the beautiful landscape. The floods have made it a little more difficult to get into the park. The north entrance and the northeast entrance were affected the most. I think they're still closed, but expected to open soon. We went in the East entrance and that was totally fine.
This video is soo refreshing, Amanda. I love my convenient city life in the city but the wildness in your video always encourages me to go out.

I'm sitting on a bed in West Yellowstone getting ready to go into the park in the morning. The timing could not have been better. Thanks

Luv the videos keep them coming
Loved it. Can't wait to make that dinner next camping trip. What do you use for your music? I particularly liked the music you used for this one.
Amanda, just south and across the street from that Alberson's is a wonderful taco truck (in case you go back thru Cody).
Very nice cooking
I loved this video - thank you!
You are so welcome!
Wyoming - that's Longmire country.

I live in Cody ❤. That waterfall is one of my favorite spots, I’m glad the grizzlies didn’t make an appearance for ya.
Yea I heard the bears were down there! Luckily we did not see them!

What kind of binoculars do you use and that case??
Where are you at the beginning of the video? We will be coming East and entering Yellowstone through Cody next summer.

I had to google Al Dente. No one told me learning would be involved.
Hey random but what jacket is that!? 😍
Hey, where are your hiking poles?!?

Holy smokes! What campground is only $10 these days???
Who knew Buffalo could swim!😆 not me
Out of all the times I've been to the park to see the bison, I've never seen one swimming like that. So cool!

Love this video. "Smells like Nicks farts" that will stay with me for a while xxx

Good thing that guy named it Dragon's Mouth or Nick's Farts might have stuck.
