Us Samoans in the US grew up with a lot of Filipinos friends especially in Hawaii lol so those Filipino foods are like traditional to me 😂💯 Filipino food is some of the best ever 💯 pork adobo is my Favorite.
When I first got to Hawaii, the first food i made is lumpia. Boy oh boy, now I’m like a walking lumpia whenever i go to party! They always ask for lumpia, chocolate meat and adobo.
Sinigang was one of my moms favorites, I grew to love it too. Glad you tried out filipino cuisine. If you come out to Cali, we have the largest filipino populations outside the Phillippines
Been watching your videos since the early days. The quantity and quality of your videos only get better and better! You got a nice blend of lifestyle and comedy going. Keep up the amazing vids! Can you guys do trying Japanese food for the first time? 😋
Filipinos and Hamos are tight here in the Bay Area. We roll like that. And we share each other's food and culture, since we're both from tropical islands.
Even most of us tongans watches filipino movies 😂 esp when i was a little kid me and my mum would watch she’ll cry at a emotional scene and il try hold in my tears 🤣 Daam Good Memories back in the 09s
But quick question how do you guys understand the Tagalog, I’m ilocano, with that being said Tagalog is based on pilipino, ilocano is another language and tribe in the Philippines. But westerners considered our language as dialects but that is not true, it is a language, because all pilipino’s we all understand Tagalog and we speak it, but Tagalog people they don’t understand the ilocano, even the people from Cebu we don’t understand if they talk to us in visaya, we have over 170 languages in the Philippines
Be careful with your food reviews whilst you are on your other journey… ways of cooking and inclusions can sneak up on you. Love your work and videos, just providing some insight to support your amazing work
adobo, sinigang, pinakbet, paksiw, mongo, pritong isda, insalada, bulalo, nilaga, dinuguan, caldereta, menudo, mechado, igado, sisig, lumpia, shanghai and tapsihan that was only basic filipino food. try some filipino muslim food, visayas pinoy food, mindanao pinoy food.. those food will bring u to a different world of filipino delicacies..😂❤
You need to do a part 2 of this. Basing on the appearance of the food (except the chorizo and lumpia), they're pretty bad takes of the original recipes. Choose a rated resto next time. Dinuguan is supposed to be life changing if the cooked the right yummy way. Bistek too. Sinigang is Sinigang. It needs to be sour for first timers just to embed it in their memory like how Tom Yum is to first time Thai food tasters. The lechon kawali definitely wasn't crispy and you said tasted bland. It needs a certain type of taste, which you get from being boiled first before getting fried up. Samoan friend, the only person of Samoan descent that is familiar to Filipinos is a retired long time national team basketball player named Asi Taulava. He's supposed to be half Samoan and half Filipino although a bit controversial because there's talk that he faked his documents just so he can play in and for the Philippines.
Bro that’s too real my dad watched Japanese and Chinese movies and shows I grew up on Jackie Chan. Crouching lion hidden dragon type stuff shout out to Samoan parents make us bilingual

@@motivationontop6587 It's DepEd's fault. They kept insisting that Philippines languages are the dialects of Filipino language.
