The Empire propaganda machine is in full swing. The original video has been a clear favorite for the channel so I thought I'd give it a facelift for WH3. Hope you all enjoy!
I have always imagined the Empire as the last true bastion of defiance against the numberless horrors that tears it's world apart, the idea of it's state troops, mere mortal men each fighting like heroes worthy of legends worth telling for thousends of years. Each Swordsman, Spearman, Halberdier and Great sword taking down crazed Norscans, bloodthirsty Beastmen and thrice damned Chaos warriors and dying with a prayer to Sigmar upon their lips. All the while Outriders, Reiksguard and Demi-Gryth Knights smash into the hordes of the damned from the sides, Handgunners, Crossbowmen and Archers pepper the enemy with shot and arrow and Cannons, Hellblaster volley guns, Steam Tanks and Hellstorm rocket batterys blast huge explosions into the enemy ranks. Warrior Priests, Empire Captains, Bright, Light and Celestial Wizards smite down the foul and the demonic, Volkmar the Grim calling down a Soulfire atop his war alter, Balthasar 'Chad' Gelt casting Golden magic (While optionally in a Gyrocopter with the song Paranoid by Black Sabbath on full volume) across the battlefield and Franz himself on top of Deathclaw charging straight at the lord of the End times himself, to smite him down and save the Warhammer world. For the Empire, for Sigmar.

Being attacked from Norsca to the north, the vampire counts to the east and forces of nurgle being in the dead center of the empire all the while having to deal with secessionists, infighting and dealing with political rivals in the empire. It’s definitely like you’re running an empire that’s meant to save humanity along with your Alliances.

With the Ordertide in Immortal Empires being far from dominating and if anything struggling against all the CHAOS, this hits all the better because now Karl Franzs campaign really is about trying to keep the empire holding together as it intrigues with itself and the forces of Chaos keep tearing at it.

Although the forces of chaos are superior to me in madness, numbers, and equipment, and although they are armed with various forces of darkness and the forces of hell, their fight will appear like a cat trying to fight lions inside a cage, but I, Karl Franz, say that only those who fight valiantly will achieve victory.
Chaos can hardly be considered to be supperior in equipment, when the empire uses gun powder and some guys with a rifles can just kill chaos warriors by shooting them.
Prefered the first one, as you removed both the chad walk of Volkmar and Boris manly chalenging the incoming beastmen... And many scenes were better in slowmo: the Faith Steel and Gunpowder bit, the dreadsaurian dying... but still great job. also a lot of points for putting the line from the legendary lords
Not too sure about the color with this new one... The previous version had a more varied color palette, with the Empire's forces having clean, shiny, "deep" colors on them, and the factions they are fighting against have dirty, grayish, "grungy" colors... With this one, everything got smashed into sepia-tone

The canon ending is "Archeon died outside Middenheim" even after GW handheld him, so the company threw a massive fit, brought in new writers with no connectionto the setting, retconned huge chunks of the lore, raped the characters, handed the world to Chaos on a platter and then nuked it, and launched 40K 2: Ground Marine Boogaloo on its tattered corpse. Don't need a company to tell me how to think about fiction. "Kirbyhammer" (8th edition, ET, AOS) is it's own alternate timeline. Storm of Chaos, Nemesis Crown, and WHFRP 2nd edition are the original timeline. I toss in (Asur) Eye of the Vortex too, gives Caledor closure (I think it fits best sometime in the late 2540s, without any crazy capital-sacking.
