For 500 bux I would definitely contact them for a warranty replacement and if u want to upgrade it then go ahead but definitely get a warranty done just so u have good ones if u need them in a pinch! Ridiculous u have to do this with a new RC that really wasn't driven unreason... Ppl normally just say oh well I will do an upgrade and not a warranty and that just makes companies put out half assed products and this isn't any exception of that look at the chassis problems and now the shocks and springs! Make em fix it Earl. I will personally start holding them accountable for fixing their junk for 1
It's a road course truck. You've said it ,I've said it. A lot of people mistake it for an airplane like other vehicles. Even the 6s isn't comfortable jumping. It'll do it but don't expect it to hold up.

I do jump my 6S mojave, but no crazy sends. If i want to do that ill take my maxx or maybe my xmaxx. I use my trucks where there most comfortable at. I love to wrench but i also like to drive without breakages after half a pack or do a half rebuild after each 1 or 2 packs
Dirt, sand, or silt mucks up everything. It’s a maintenance rich environment. I don’t run any of my r/cs in it. I used to many years ago and all the necessary tinkering lead to r/c burnout. That was back in the 80s. I’ve only gotten back into the hobby for the past 6 years. I just don’t have it in me to abuse them. I still enjoy them but for different reasons now. They’re so well made and engineered.

I would try and get those shocks warrantied. At least the springs! But also stronger springs might be needed so the stock ones may not last long again. Were your shafts bent at all? Maybe some 6s springs if they will fit?
Them shocks are doing way better though!!! That’s the first thing I do on a new R/C Earl is put real high quality shocks on it (unless it has decent shocks from the factory) which isn’t normal these days
I would warranty just to have extra parts but upgrade the shocks at this price point these shocks are not acceptable dont market it as a off truck if its a street queen
I put Fireteam springs on mine with all the shock spacers in place. It sits too high now. So I’ll take some spacers out. But this base shock setup from factory is too weak.
try a 2 part spring idk exactly how the shocks look like but seems possible with all that room for spacers, plus the springs should have been re designed for a real longer travel not just sitting higher with only 60% of the spring having travel
That's why I don't jump even my Mojave EXB 6s like that high. I do long distance jumps, but not high in the air. SCT are not designed to be jumped very high. I always do a lot of damage when I go too high. That's what my other rigs are for (jumping high and flips). I used to backflip my Mojave and then when things went wrong, like landing upside down or sideways, it would end in disaster. If you land your 4s Mojave upside down, I wouldn't be surprised if you cracked the plastic chassis, or damaged the body badly. That's another thing. The SCT bodies get damaged badly with big high jumps. Thanks for the video.
My esc gets hot one rip down through the field turn it around and it's went into thermal mode,im going to order the blx 6s esc and put on it. this was a replacement for the vendetta that burned down from the esc exploding..is all the arma escs junk or am i the only one having issues?
so I just bought this same truck but white, now my question is why does it stop moving after 5 minutes of run. its a brand new 4s battery fully charged and I cant have mine running long as your trunk in the video :(
Sorry to keep talking, but I can’t help it today. Scorched RC, Vitavon, and the China brands (which I try not to buy) have shock bolts that are designed for bigger shocks… they work well
Idk about the Mojave but i have 3 arrmas and some other brands and I have literally beaten my kraton 6s even put in the bigger gear and still has been amazing but I've seen that not every car us the same even if it's the same model

I would do 6s shocks just to get rid of the spring spacers. But then you have to tune them for this rig. I'm still suspicious that the stock servo saver is rhe culprit of your steering issues.

This is normal......for Arrma they produce junk charge a premium and get their customers to do the R&D im done with Arrma! But the fan boyz love them and will defend any junk the produce

That thing is junk. I’m not an Arrma fan to begin with but this truck seems to be worse then the fireteam thing. This thing is Arrma’s version of a mall crawler 😂
16 packs through in desert sand and still have had no issues. Body doesn't stick anymore either. I think ol' Earl got some pretty bad luck with this one :(
I've bashed my Fireteam hard for nearly a year and only had a pillow ball pop out, front axle bearing failure and stock servo crap out. Less than $40 total. Everyone I know except one person says the Fireteam is a tank. Even Talbot.
@boduke9428 yes front bearing where my only issue other then no lock tight on the motor mount to chassis so I lost screws on the first run good rc as it’s a Mojave 6s chassis and that rc did good 👍
I like the way you actually care about you R/C’s instead of just trashing them. I learn the issues of whichever R/C your dealing with under “human” operating conditions🤙🏻 instead of jumping them 50 ft in the air and all the extreme bashing stuff. I guess I relate to your style of R/Cing… if that makes sense

Yup me either. High jumps usually end up in disasters with SCT. I have no problem with long distance jumps with a Mojave EXB.

No bent shock shafts, just the front bumper hitting so hard it’s popping out of the lock to the body, jamming the wheels

Yep i felt cheated out of spring tension with the Outcast v2 🤔 yours didn't last half the time 😳
It’s like they where slowly loosing tension every jump today till nothing was left in them cause the bumper to become a spring at the end 🤷🏻♂️😱
Outcast v2 front springs started sagging after 4 runs net even jumping more than 2 feet of ground

Spring too soft at the front , try to change to other brand sct shock . My Hobao sct8 front shock dont have this problem. Try it .

Size and weight is the good part and repairs should be cheaper to run a 4s vs a 6s line rc car 👍

Clean that rubber baby buggy bumper and use tire glue in the slot get it set, then put the hardware in. It will stay from then on.
The wire in the spring looks too thin and they dont have enough coils.

I just pulled the whole rc apart the front springs are done 🤷🏻♂️when I remove the spacers the springs are half the shock body long now 🧐
