Great video Earl. I look forward to see more trucks on your channel. I respect your reviews! Mine and lots of others' have the same sound you're talking about. Not sure, but it probably has something to do with the center diff. Still runs beautifully
Great insight on this new drop by ARRMA Earl...... seems to be a decent addition to anyones RC garage..... To avoid body damage on any of my off road RCs I always take the time to shoo-Goo and dry wall tape the bodies before I do any bashing with them..... penny wise ? pound foolish as they say......lolol... as always..thank You for what you contribute tp our hobby..............
If I were to personally get into this RC, I would use it for a street car only. In have plenty of other fast rigs to run in sand to spend money on bearings for! :) I like the sound of the tires on sidewalks and pavement, that little "screeching" sound adds to the cars cool factor! It's handling on those surfaces is great as well. The servo issue should be warrantied, but likely not. So I would fix that myself. If money were an issue? I would get the Senton and never look back..
Feel exactly the same , I have 5 rcs that never be pretty again in the bench , between rain and my yard can get pretty rough , new rcs can stay in front of house 😂, I used 6s Mojave like you said making cool screeching sounds burnt up diffs got it right but at point the bearings shot snapped dog bone
Great series Earl on the new Mojave, I feel I can make a good decision on buying one now, I hope.Arrma and Traxxas and the others appreciate the You Tubers cause it's because of you guys on what I buy....Thanks for all you do Earl 💯
Great video series. Personally not going to buy one will hold out to see if a version 2 is released. Definately a step up from 3s line for a "lower" priced beater that wont break first run out.
Really cool that it has an actual diff than a slipper. Much appreciated everything you do. I'm still fairly new to the hobby , not quite 2 years , learning a lot from you. Thank you. Do have a unrelated question though. I got the new Outcast 8 S EXB , got a light kit for it , can't find a open aux port for power. Suggestions ??? Very much appreciated
Considering that SLT3 is dual protocol running either SLT or DSMR range might depend on what RX is in there I’m currently using one of these for my 1/24 crawlers range isn’t an issue
Earl that stuff stay soft a lot I figured for when want elastic but than I had it dry perfect fixing someone’s glasses , I guess depends on what bonding and using a lot we’re not bonding like how locktiggt works , also if you put it in freezer or fridge overnight it probably cured
I huck all the stock spektrum radios in garbage can and bind to my spektrum dx5r pro lol no range props and 40 model memory it's the way to go for sure
@@earlmoorhead5555 You won't necessarily see signs of it on the body or tire but it sounds like the front diff gears slipping. I put 1mil in the diff to calm it down.
I just can’t deal with the price for it. For around 100 to 110 bucks more you get the 6S version (in europe). If they made it like a 400 bucks, that would be a good price I think.
Yes Arrma devalued there company by having these insane deals as price goes it doesn’t matter 3s 4s 6S the rc car doesn’t cost more to build its size on what area you can run it at those speed it’s one thing I learned late into rc that surprised me I felt the same as you for a few dollars more I can get a better Rc because of the size of the electronics but in turn found out the rc sometimes isn’t good for the area I run like a Kraton 6s or even an 8s Kraton doesn’t work for me at all the outcast line seems better 🤷🏻♂️and I have been truly impressed with arrma 4s line of rc cars as the repairs are way cheaper on a crash 👍just figured I’d put my 2 cents on what I’ve learned 🙏
Isn’t this 4s a bit more durable ? I mean they redesigned the chassis for it so others are saying, could be that they’re getting an Arrma envelope through the door though 😂 but plenty prefer this model. It’s a great looking truck that’s got some pace to it, I’m bloody tempted to get one here in the UK.
@@earlmoorhead5555 Very true, I’ve heard some spray plastic components with GT85 to help with flexibility. As for cold weather, despite how some will grizzle London doesn’t get that cold 😂 but further up north of the country does.
It's a nice little truck, but it will get chassis damage if you put it through rough terrain. The 6s just gets scratches. That's what I've seen in videos. The plastic chassis develops cracks and holes from nasty terrain, so you couldn't drive it where you drive the 6s Mojave. It would have to be more flat terrain 👍
Earl .Thanks for all the Research and Development of our products.Regards from Horizon Hobbies -Arrma.✌️
Appreciate your support for this project 💯👍🙏
@@earlmoorhead5555 The 5 bucks are for the washers.Wish we had thought of that.Regards the team at Arrma. ✌
@johnnyhaberfield721 thanks 🙏
Glad that body problem wasn’t too hard to fix. Thing looks pretty sweet. Still kinda tempting 🤔
Great vid! Appreciate all the work and issues you've shared with us
Glad this rc got the thumbs up after a rocky start... Salute!
Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you pointed out the problem and the fix. Keep it up.

Can't wait to get mine ..... I think it will be perfect for me. Great research Earl fantastic vids. Thanks man.❤
Just had to say it... The stance on your bimmer is PERFECT!! 💯 Thank you for testing this RC out for all of us! 👍
Thanks 🙏
Can tell you like the rig earl, thanks Arrma really putting out some good stuff
Still looking for a home I assume??? Doing vids out of your storage can’t be easy… thanks for keeping us entertained 👍👍👍
Yes December the house should be ready I’m hoping
Awesome 🙏
I believe the noise to be the center diff spinning out due to to thin or lack of differential fluid.

Can you do a complete maintenance, service video
Yep
Thanks for the real world reviews Eman. I don't think I'll be adding the 4S to my collection.
Earl Cool video like the Mojave 4s keep up good work my friend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍
Hell yea brother
As far as radio range goes. The DX3 is usually paired up with a better quality receiver & that can make a big difference in range.

8mm bit works well, body stays tight
Can’t wait to get a center diff out of 1 of these for my Big Rock!
Time for "Baby Mo" to have some of that space!! 😁

You can split a port your aux port use a Y cable 👍

Good thing there aren't any electronics on the shell.... easy spray down!
quit confusing me with final thoughts. i KNEW you were gonna jack the spring rates. now i gotta pause here and go over there and watch. 😂
Letsss goooooo!!

The thick parts stayed soft for a long time turns hard after 2 days for me like shoe goo

The sound is the front tires ballooning into the body.
No sign of body rubbing

I’ve driven through dirt, rocks, sand… the body on my Mojave 4s still doesn’t stick. Did they fix it on the newer production trucks?

Now I'm starting to think that noise is drive shaft vibration
Might be seems on grass to be
Louder like tires on an off road truck running down a highway 🤷🏻♂️
It is it happend on stock driveshaft with the 3s on road cars running anything more than 3s
That wet grass makes it sound dry
Yes
Call that truck...the lawnmower 😅😮😊
Lmao
What can you lace to prevent all the mud getting into car?
Like the infractions they made a fender liner kit that works perfectly no dirt inside at all 99.00 kit tho 🤷🏻♂️

All right……………
Boom 🎉
The 3s line has the same plastic balls all round
I think ill do the mod like yours on the body posts.
Theres a lot of land mines out here 😂😂
It's a armma senton with a new chassis and a fire team interior ! 😮😮😮 🤣🤣🤣🤣
No guns where the Fireteam 🤔
