    I saw Rwanda constructing similar airport at 2B$, Uganda has more resources than Rwanda but I don't know why they don't try out mega projects at international standards. Likes new planned capital city, They like doing small things very fast as if the country is ending tomorow

    Jomo Kenyatta International Airport can only be compared to OR Tambo International and other airports. Entebbe International Airport is a slum of an airport. Ugandan Govt must wake up and build a new airport. Interesting observation.

    They welcomed me to Kenya by trying to hijack my luggage coming off the baggage carousel. Fortunately, I caught them before they made it out the door. There are no security forces once you past customs. Once you get past customs, you must head straight for the baggage carousel or risk losing your luggage to bag snatchers who lurk around the airport there.

      Are these not mere fabricated lies. Do you know how many international flights land or transit through Kenya? That can't happen at JKIA. Even cabs guys are very hospitable. I doubt that should be a matatu stage down-town Nrb.

    • @fanbutton
      @fanbutton ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gkgreg7445 I learned two things when I arrived in Nairobi in 2016. One: always tend your luggage at the airport baggage claim carousel and two: always negotiate the fare of a taxi BEFORE getting into a cab. This incident happened to me back in 2016 when the new style luggage designs were being blowmolded out of highly durable plastic and vinyl. I don't know how airport security there is now as I have not been back to Nairobi in over 5 years.

      It's necessary to compare coz atimes we might be satisfied with the status quo yet lagging behind others. For example see how far Kenya is compared to Uganda, yet in Uganda some people think that they are developed😂😂😂😂
