I'm Caribbean American and Uganda was the first African nation I visited. I set up an NGO there and I travel there (my second home) 😊 every year. I would love to meet this Brother. His story is soooo very encouraging.
He operates a tour agency called Great Lakes Tour and Travel Agency, so when you are in Uganda 🇺🇬, please look for their offices.
What’s your NGO if I may ask?

I love it when Amos says he is grateful to God that he was born Ugandan. Proud Ugandan. I always tell my students that Uganda is the best country in the world.
From Brooklyn NY..67yrs old..share share,especially with our young people..no get rich quick scheme.....hard work,patience.
Trees moving 😅reminds me of my first journey from Kasese to Kampala at the age of 14yrs and today living in the UK breaking the chain of poverty in my family. God is good.Thank you Wekesa for sharing and thank you Wode for bringing this to us.
I think this happens to children I used to see trees move when I started traveling. I actually shared with a friend that these days trees no longer move.
Me too ,I could see trees moving 😂😂😂😂😂

Wode among the hundreds of African gems you have featured Amos stands out. Thank you.
One thing I like about Mr. Wekesa is the way he recognizes everyone. With all his great achievements and status, he's one man who will walk to you and shake your hand for just holding a camera and taking a group photo with him in it. It might seem like a small gesture but if you're one person fighting to rise above the storm like me, that's an assurance. That you got this.
Africa Is booming africa is the future
We are born in the villages however villages aren't forever born neither do they forever dwell in us! Great inspirational stories!! Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah 🙏
@AN-Nuke Mwho said there was something wrong with it? It's societal standards that attempt to confine us wherever we are born! We burst thru that thru determination superceeding expectations. That's the conjectural naratives presented.
We run back to our villages now a days to seek peace of mind from our busy cities.
There is nothing wrong with our villages.
Mr. Wekesa is really doing great and am glad you met him.
When he said if you're poor you look old. His life story is incredible. Thanks Maya for sharing 💕
In Uganda even those who are not educated are good business people, to honest even staying in kenya for 26 years i still want to go back home coz home is the best.
Amos Wekesa is a true inspiration. He has inspired a whole generation of Ugandans from all walks of life. Including Saleh of Casa Uganda Safaris. My mentor.
Saleh is a great guy too
This man has a real story to tell and I'm ready to hear him out and learn of his resilience to crawl out of poverty.
Wode Maya, bring on the part two. Well Done!❤❤
Wode much Love from your African Blood Sister from 🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿 Tanzania Aksante for everything you're doing for our mother Land Africa
He is a great example of hard work, sacrifice, dedication, prayer and ambition pays off. He get inspiration from his stories.
Amos Wekesa is undoubtedly one of the most inspiring men in Uganda today, if not, then his the most. It was a pleasure running 10km this month in honour of his 50th birthday. I always upplaud his humility, integrity, hardwork and endless contribution to Uganda's tourism industry. A Uganda with at least 10 Amos Wekesa operating in different states or cities will be better off than with 1000th MPs with no credentials.
Exactly dear
Watching from somalia our continent africa is gift from allah . We have to believe and proud we re african who can do everthing human can dream. Uganda the pearl of africa as somalis ugandha is our second mother land we live there as great and respect life .thanks ugandian people and goverment .we admire your hospitality
I've been blessed to meet and interact with Mr Wekesa! He is a very simple and humble man, he gave me 3 hours of his very precious time on our very first meeting, where I went on to befriend his son, Kylan, who's been born into everything but still a spitting epitome of his father. They're very nice people and he (Sr) will tell his story freely and give you the ins of the game. Kudos! Let's spread the message!
We have all seen this guy (from afar) rising as a brilliant entrepreneur. No government money. He inspires me a lot.
Thank you brother wode Maya I receive my 1000 subscriber this year in Jesus name amen ❤❤❤❤
When he mentioned he thought the trees were moving! Truly a grass to grace story
OMG Oguti Primary school is Where I finished my primary From!oh wow❤..year 2013 to 2014
While living in a certain country last year, there was a family that wanted to visit Uganda and asked if i can recommend a trusted tour company. I had heard about Amos so quickly checked online for the name of his company and i recommended it to them. Boy, they had a wonderful experience! Just like the bible says in Proverbs 22:1, I have never met Amos but his the reputation of quality and sincerity and humility sells him. Keep it up and more blessings Amos. Maya, thanks you so much.. waiting for part 2!
Thanks Maya for these back to back Ugandan videos
It has really shown the hidden beauty of my mother land Uganda 🇺🇬 🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬
Our Uganda 🇺🇬 President has analysed African poverty well. He said that the majority of Africans have not been poor at all. They lived in a MONEYLESS ECONOMY, with a lot of food, milk, meat, fish, etc. That's why the gentleman is not stunted he is educated and is an entrepreneur. Poverty, as measured by the amount of calories taken per day, should capture the African context of abundance of resources, but with moneyless people.
Africans are poor and live in absolute poverty. Poor quality houses, dirty houses, no drinking water, no electricity, crime, corruption, rape, etc. I am African and love the continent and have invested there in some of the most remote communities and I know what I regularly see.
This is the most incredible analysis. What is sad is that people refuse to rap their minds around a cashless reality.
People stood still because they didn’t know where to file in or they had no direction. They had no self efficacy they needed cash & title in the MATRIX to enslave them and to give them task & worthiness. They didn’t do anything or create anything lest they receive directive & cash.
This is my theory on the Christian Bible stating, “and the devil has deceived the WHOLEWORLD”!
People can not say they are in poverty! The same claims are true here in USA. People can create without cash & they can educate without cash yet they stand still.
This is profound & it is makes me shiver of the fact that we dare not dream of an abundant reality where we have no need of cash.
No cash should be a challenge to create the things to meet the needs!
Do you agree?
Beautifully said. The world would be a better place in a moneyless economy.
My tears are coming down 😢😢but happy for him
Shouts out from Charleston South Carolina ✨

Ayaaaaa small country, beautiful people ❤️ thats my uganda the pearl of Africa, wode maya to the world
Watching from Lamu, Kenya. So encouraging. Wekesa challenged us who were born and raised in poverty.
Great Video ❤️ I love it 😍
I don't understand why youths and adults are still poor when they have a smart phone and great opportunities on how to make money💰
Noted! And what are the actions needed to be successful?
@@thomasdooley3702 No specific one really, because there are lots of investment plans and strategies littered all over the internet today, for instance, investments like real estates, gold, drop shipping crypto currency and lots more
I've heard alot about crypto currency investments and how effective it can grow your income! Any recommendations on a guide?
For me,I would say Gold are profitable but Crypto has been the best so far

In Jesus name, I’ll also tell my story like this one day while I’m super rich and owning super properties☺️
@AN-Nuke M yeah definitely.
Don't call your face annoying. It's not.
You are a blessing and words have power.
Taking this guy's story lightly is like taking poison.
It's so much inspiring!!
Wode Maya,Amosi Wekesa story is ispiring, that means, the story has a head and a tail, and i believe, his legacy will live forever, but for my friend Ham Kigundu!in Uganda we say, nedda, nedda, the story is not connecting at all.
