You’re a smart cookie who seems to weigh things up logically and puts things into perspective in a positive way. That’s inspirational and comforting to others I think. It’s easy to worry about people we respect when they voice that certain parts of their lives aren’t or haven’t made them happy, but it’s equally easy to forget that we’re all going to feel various emotions and that’s okay and how things are meant to be. We’re all different and have our own wonderful ways of dealing with the ways our lives unfold and we use that to learn what works for us. A lot of the time that’s fine and we don’t need additional help because we can handle it, but sometimes we need a little support or guidance. It’s difficult to judge from a video how someone is coping with whatever they’re facing, but I’m glad so many have shown they care about your wellbeing. It’s nice to know that if you need that support you have a bundle of caring people to guide you and lend an ear. I think your outlook on things is pretty good and you seem proactive. It’s nice you’ve got a focus that is bringing you happiness. Those doors that open will be exciting to venture into! You definitely have the strength to explore them. I’m really glad you make these videos. They’re so soothing to watch and listen to, and a wonderful way for so many people to gain a feeling of “oh I’m not the only one who loves this sort of thing or feels this that and the other…” and feel connected with others. You’ve added someone unique to an already incredibly diverse community and I’m not alone in feeling very grateful to you for that. So thanks! I don't really comment often on youtube but i wanted to say that i also miss the past and how low my mental health is now compared to back then because of anxiety, depression and other things. Having said that, i attribute a lot of value to satisfying the dreams of your inner child and also keeping that inner child close to your heart and mind. I'm glad you're able to do exactly that and i appreciate that you're taking us with you in this nostalgic journey. I know exactly what you mean with the feeling of nostalgic melancholy that can come with revisiting / longing for things that gave comfort in the past. Especially this time of the year (Christmas movies, music, the desire to go back to a simpler time when the holidays were just pure joy with nothing else dampening that spirit). Lately I’ve had to really remind myself to enjoy revisiting of the past sparingly, but live in the present and push myself to seek out new experiences that “future me” will look back on fondly. Anyway, keep up the awesome content! The subject matter you cover is perfect for ASMR. I never got into WoW, but I was very into EverQuest when I was a younger so I definitely understand a lot of the WoW nostalgia and fascination!
I used eye these back in the day at mediamarkt. But i got the logitech g15 with the lcd screen instead. Sadly as every wow player has experienced at least once. I spilt a drink on it and it was destroyed. Cool to see one these Zboards with the wow set again
I remember those boards. Never had one but always thought they were cool especially the dedicated Warcraft buttons. Great video as always and yes we would love to see your gaming room and setup. Cheers !

i always wanted the keyboard as a kid but could never got it 😭😭😭, can't believe you did an unboxing video of it, And never knew bout the illidan mousepad existed! I can also relate to you when it comes to reminiscing about the past, all of the games that i currently play right now are games that i've been playing since i was a child or young teen, i've tried playing new games but struggle to continue playing. So i appreciate you sharing this since at often times this feeling is very troublesome for me.
I hope you are able as well to let go of the feelings of wanting to relive the past, I have these rose-tinted glasses that I was way happier a couple of years ago and dealing with the thoughts of never feeling that way again. And regarding the anxiousness, a big breakthrough for me was changig my mindset from "people suck" to "assume everyone likes you". If your percieve the world and people as mostly bad your subcontious will never allow yourself to be truly happy since it will think you are indeed in a bad place at all the time. And the thing we lose as kids is we become suspicious of people so enforcing youself the mentality "everyone likes me" you kinda regain that a bit.
stranger danger alerts. Pdough alerts. always ? a humans intensions i have tried many therapists and medicine 💊 only thing that works is vodka then i don't feel or even know what anxiety is sadly it's inappropriate adrenaline release in your body it wants you to fight or run for no reason normally means a traumatic event occured in ones life. i will soon be doing MDMA and phlyosibin treatments in a controlled environment with medical staff. I find that it's important to temper that with also living in the present. But as you said, it's a work in progress. I'd love to see your gaming room. If only we could go back to the glory days of WoW and the carelessness of being kids where the only thought was where the next piece of loot is coming from 🤣I struggle to find joy in it anymore, the magics gone. I made a similar nostalgia purchase this year with Pokemon cards. As a kid all I ever wanted to do was to open a whole box of cards, so I bought a box and did just that 😅 I had a great time! It's a difficult time of year... but hope you find some happiness with this over the festive season ☺

Haha I wish it was a whole box of the original cards! I don't quite have the funds to stretch that far though. I think they are around £20,000 😱 They did release a new set this year though called 151 and it's all the original pokemon with new cards and artwork, so the nostalgia pulled me in. I did pull the Charizard, Zapdos and some of the better cards so I was very lucky. The kid in me was very happy anyway 😄 Hope you and yours have a great christmas and new year too!🎅

Haha yeah I think I'll leave the original cards to the high rollers... 😄 Funny you should say that, I may have bought a box of Japanese 151 as well... lol I've not got a problem honest 😅 They have some cool collectables that the European set doesn't have called Masterball cards. There's 1 card per box of 20 booster packs so they are very rare and therefore worth a bit. I got a Charmeleon in my box which I was pretty happy about. The Japanese cards tend to be better quality as well, better printing and centering etc if you are bothered by that sort of thing. Plus they have some really cool exclusive sets you just don't get in Europe. VSTAR Universe is one that is popular as the pull rate is very high. I'd recommend looking at some Pokemon card channels on here first as there are so many sets, it's hard to know where to start. Good luck if you do decide to buy some though! It would make a cool video opening them... 😜 Thankfully I've scratched that itch, so no more cards for me... for now anyway 😬

The last few years have been awful and whilst being a progressive-minded person myself, I recognise the longing for the times when some essential things in my life weren't as bad as they are. This reminds me of a blood elf prot paladin I used to play with in the burning crusade, we were spamming ramparts and blood furnace together and it was so fun, we were on the server Sunstrider, I think,. or was it stormscale. Something like that, man those were some great times.

Same here but I use it as a coping mechanism to heal and gather myself together again, mainly if someone I love dies or something else bad happens. It’s kind of nice to regress into a safer feeling place whilst your brain and body deals with stuff! Only for a tiny bit though or it hurts more than helps for sure.
@@ErudwenASMR Glad to help. But remember, always have one extra as a backup. You never know when a damaged cable or nasty accident will mess up your board. I was very lucky to be able to borrow a keyboard from a neighbor when mine suddenly failed, and now I always keep a second one in a storage closet just in case.

You are having a lot of the same feelings I have. For me there's the contrast of a decade of severe depression versus 20 odd years before that when I used to be more social and find friends in WoW. I don't play WoW actively anymore, but I return with my girlfriend a few times a year. It was a big part of my life for a good 14 years.

I would like to just suggest if you have the means that talking to a professional therapist can be hugely impactful with helping through tough times. I’m not saying you need to as I don’t know you personally nor am I an expert myself but I have gone to therapy personally during hard times and it really does help. They understand mental states, and not just bad ones, and they can help navigate through that to get you to a better place. I just care about people’s mental health so just my two cents.

i bought a Zelotes Spider Mouse with 8 buttons hence the spider lol specifically for MMOs makes it way easier. please forgive me if my assumption is incorrect but i believe you're from Sweden. If so do you have spiders there and do you like spiders? i respect them and never kill them but i also don't want them on me 😊 me have a respectful accord they get rid of pests and we leave them be. 😎
No I'm terrified of spiders! Back in the north of Sweden they don't get very large since its a very cold climate, and I don't think we have any dangerous once as well. But here in the south of Sweden they get very large, there are loads of 'lockespindel' and I'm creeped out every time I see one! 🥲
The melancholy for the 2000’s really hit home. Despite the horrible on goings in the world it felt cozier and happier maybe simpler is the better term. I really miss those days. Now I play WOW alone with no one and it hurts to see all the offline friends. The internet was a Wild West and truly an amazing place. I miss 2006-2016 that time period to me was the greatest.
I hope we can both get over our feelings of melancholy, its soon a new year with new opportunities to experience happy moments and joyful little parts of life ❤️

And regarding the anxiousness, a big breakthrough for me was changig my mindset from "people suck" to "assume everyone likes you". If your percieve the world and people as mostly bad your subcontious will never allow yourself to be truly happy since it will think you are indeed in a bad place at all the time. And the thing we lose as kids is we become suspicious of people so enforcing youself the mentality "everyone likes me" you kinda regain that a bit.
stranger danger alerts. Pdough alerts. always ? a humans intensions i have tried many therapists and medicine 💊 only thing that works is vodka then i don't feel or even know what anxiety is sadly it's inappropriate adrenaline release in your body it wants you to fight or run for no reason normally means a traumatic event occured in ones life. i will soon be doing MDMA and phlyosibin treatments in a controlled environment with medical staff. Love these videos and your passion for this sort of stuff. The nostalgia is real! If only we could go back to the glory days of WoW and the carelessness of being kids where the only thought was where the next piece of loot is coming from 🤣I struggle to find joy in it anymore, the magics gone.
I made a similar nostalgia purchase this year with Pokemon cards. As a kid all I ever wanted to do was to open a whole box of cards, so I bought a box and did just that 😅 I had a great time!

Haha I wish it was a whole box of the original cards! I don't quite have the funds to stretch that far though. I think they are around £20,000 😱
They did release a new set this year though called 151 and it's all the original pokemon with new cards and artwork, so the nostalgia pulled me in. I did pull the Charizard, Zapdos and some of the better cards so I was very lucky. The kid in me was very happy anyway 😄

Funny you should say that, I may have bought a box of Japanese 151 as well... lol I've not got a problem honest 😅
They have some cool collectables that the European set doesn't have called Masterball cards. There's 1 card per box of 20 booster packs so they are very rare and therefore worth a bit. I got a Charmeleon in my box which I was pretty happy about.
The Japanese cards tend to be better quality as well, better printing and centering etc if you are bothered by that sort of thing. Plus they have some really cool exclusive sets you just don't get in Europe. VSTAR Universe is one that is popular as the pull rate is very high.
I'd recommend looking at some Pokemon card channels on here first as there are so many sets, it's hard to know where to start.
Good luck if you do decide to buy some though! It would make a cool video opening them... 😜

This reminds me of a blood elf prot paladin I used to play with in the burning crusade, we were spamming ramparts and blood furnace together and it was so fun, we were on the server Sunstrider, I think,. or was it stormscale. Something like that, man those were some great times.

Same here but I use it as a coping mechanism to heal and gather myself together again, mainly if someone I love dies or something else bad happens. It’s kind of nice to regress into a safer feeling place whilst your brain and body deals with stuff!

I was very lucky to be able to borrow a keyboard from a neighbor when mine suddenly failed, and now I always keep a second one in a storage closet just in case.

You are having a lot of the same feelings I have. For me there's the contrast of a decade of severe depression versus 20 odd years before that when I used to be more social and find friends in WoW. I don't play WoW actively anymore, but I return with my girlfriend a few times a year. It was a big part of my life for a good 14 years.
Damn I love your content. I don't even play WOW. But you make me want to play it haha. I really loved the movie though and still annoyed we did not get a sequel. Mostly I just love your passion and your sweet personality. Your partner is very lucky to have somone authentic and kind such as yourself. I completely understand having to have something from your childhood. I missed out on capitalising on my pokemon cards as a kid and had chucked them. Now Im reliving it in a way by collevting One Piece trading cards. And I have paid some crazy money. Some my parter is not happy about lol. I would like to just suggest if you have the means that talking to a professional therapist can be hugely impactful with helping through tough times. I’m not saying you need to as I don’t know you personally nor am I an expert myself but I have gone to therapy personally during hard times and it really does help. They understand mental states, and not just bad ones, and they can help navigate through that to get you to a better place. I just care about people’s mental health so just my two cents.

No I'm terrified of spiders! Back in the north of Sweden they don't get very large since its a very cold climate, and I don't think we have any dangerous once as well. But here in the south of Sweden they get very large, there are loads of 'lockespindel' and I'm creeped out every time I see one! 🥲

The melancholy for the 2000’s really hit home. Despite the horrible on goings in the world it felt cozier and happier maybe simpler is the better term.
I really miss those days. Now I play WOW alone with no one and it hurts to see all the offline friends.
The internet was a Wild West and truly an amazing place.
I miss 2006-2016 that time period to me was the greatest.
