This was such a fantastic game and the multiplayer was really enjoyable. I wish they'd do a re-release on PC. There's really not many good Transformers games in general.

The Cliffjumper stealth parts and some other levels from Fall of Cybertron actually took effort, wasn't all easy, and I appreciated it. Respected those characters a lot more because of it too.
I agree. I was so waiting for the Autobots on Earth with proper dirt, trees, and blue sky. A simple Cab-over Freightliner semi-truck and other vehicles was what I wanted. Then High Moon lost the license.
same here, there is so much they could do with them, I love wfc an fall, rise of the dark spark was a mixed bag, it had half a good story, well the cybertron parts, being able to unlock so many characters was awesome, but only being able to use them online was a huge disappointment, feel like bits an pieces from all 3 games, with a long story, that has a lot of variety an reasons to replay,, extra unlockable characters, more weapons, a few extra single player modes to extend the life, an a multiplayer more fleshed out then fall, would be the best transformers game ever made
Hand down, Fall of Cybertron and War for Cybertron were the best Transformers game ever! Design, graphics, atmosphere, story...everything is fantastic...I still have these on my PC. It's sad that WfC ended in a cliffhanger and we never got a game continuing from that...😔

I'm actually curious to know how the Prime characters would have looked in Cybertronian vehicle modes. Not bulked out like in this game, but with the bodies they have in the show
Prime is in the Aligned Continuity like WFC, FoC, the Cybertron part of RotDS, RiD, and TF Rescue Bots, but there are a few inconsistencies, like vehicle forms-Megatron has a Cybertronian Jet form where he’s supposed to be a tank. Overall I do like how there are bits of tie-ins here and there, and I enjoy that.
The sad part is how much better the story and voice acting is than anything they've put out for years. This includes the new Netflix series that tries to carry the same name. This game was created by people who actually like and know transformersversus a corporate panel and it shows.
This and FOC were the best things to happen in Transformers since G1 imo. I’ve got so much love for the designs, world building and pure passion high moon put into these games. Would be a dream to have them remastered. Always find myself longing for a game with such a unique multiplayer experience as this game had and nothings come close since, Destiny for abilities but nothing can compare to transforming to evade, chase or finish opponents. They are both under appreciated gems.
megatron tried doing what he thought benefitted the cybertronian race, but in the wrong way, which was why optimus and the autobots protested and the great war started in the first place. both sides wanted to do good for their planet and race, but with different methods, both good and bad. in my opinion, neither the decepticons nor the autobots are good or bad at we perceived them to be, their endgame was the same: restore cybertron and its people.
If you look into the history of the Decepticons, originally Megatron was the hero of the story. The Decepticons were a rebellion of slaves. Honestly it's perfectly reasonable that Megatron would be pissed about Orion Pax's alternative to "ending" the horrible mistreatment and lack of rights for the slave castes. Pax literally advocated for nothing be done and no one to be brought to justice. It'd be like deciding against the Nuremburg trials and letting all the evil men face no consequences. Their treatment of lower castes was really fucking horrific.
Intentions can be good or bad, but the methods taken and violently enforcing that upon others who disagree, especially when perpetually laced with the self important egotism that Megatron embodied, that much is most certainly evil.
I wish xbox would make these backward compatible with the newer consoles. I have these for the Xbox 360 and wouldn't mind playing them again, along with star wars unleashed titles
