I don’t think it does so much as shows one side of Thomas. Thomas is pretty inconsistent not just in the brenner era but throughout the show, and I think SLOTLT does a good job of showing this considering how it happens after TGD

The Gordon one could be justified. Gordon has been a thorn in Thomas for while now. And the thing with the coaches was resolved years ago which really annoys me in Legend of The Lost Treasure

I think he's his bitchiest during Thomas and the Garbage Train. Poor Whiff had to pul the giant train himself, and Thomas barely got any consequences for doing that (And Whiff forgave him so easily-this engine is the definition of being way too nice)
