This is better than anything Blizzard has done in the past decade. You might not like it, but this game is what peak performance looks like.
We were THIS close to having early internet Warcraft memes in the style of Zelda and Mario CDI and it makes me sad we never got it.
In a way, Blizz always intended Thrall to defeat Deathwing.
i love it so much. typical 90s point and click adventure, with silly protagonist in silly and goofy situations, with humor present in every scene.
So blackwing was actually stoned as hell when he started cataclysm lmao
Many people creating games now still loving games but they cannot just "flow" with ideas because: CEO's, sponsors, people screaming every step etc.
Female Dwarves have beards confirmed in WoW canon.

The stories in Warcraft and WoW are revisionist history - Warcraft Adventures is how the events really went down.
the guy that voices Drek'thar was the original Narrator for every starting zone cinematic when WoW came out. He eventually passed away and was replaced.
In defense of Thrall killing Deathwing there, iirc prior to the aspects being more fleshed out as characters in vanilla WoW, Deathwing was just a particularly evil black dragon that helped the Horde during the Beyond the Dark Portal expansion.
That was fast.
prior to wc3 the wc world was a lot more comical, this game fits that more than WoW does.
the art actually looks fantastic for the era. damn shame this thing never saw the light of day, but if it wasnt working, it wasnt working

Warcraft Adventures Reforged 2021
A few this this dood didn't mention. Clancy Brown is the fucking Kurgan from Highlander and he came back to voice Blackhand in the Warcraft movie...his performance at least was badass and seemed like how Blackhand should be portrayed based on the older games and books. Also, Lord of the Clans was rewritten and released as a novel. I think it was after Day of the Dragon and The Last Guardian and I'm pretty sure it was the first one Golden herself worked on and it was a GOOD fucking book. Really good in my opinion.

I played kings quest 5-7 and I miss the golden era of gaming back in 1995 threw 98. games were all full of stupid fun like this game would have been. and its fun to see what made it to other games from the ashes of games not finished.
