Sweetie, I cannot believe you have reached adulthood without ever visiting Poundland…my mind is boggled, you must have led such a wonderfully sheltered life…

Ooh I love Poundland; I use their make up when I don’t want to splash out on Mac or Clarins. I use eyebrow pencil and kohl pencil, I also use the Colour shampoo n conditioner when I don’t want to buy expensive Wella stuff. Today I got body lotion and some allergy tablets. It’s great when u want to save as it’s so cheap, I bought loads of art supplies so I could try painting n paper paints n brushes were all only a £1 each. I get Pork from Lidl, the pork shoulder is good cos you can slow roast then it pulls apart like shredded ribs so u can use barbecue sauce with leftovers for a nice meal or pork n stuffing cobs….yummy. The quilt cover was an awesome bargain. It’s great to see u accounting your money each shop, so inspirational.

It takes legendary levels of discipline to walk into B&M and not walk out with £100 of stuff you didn’t know you needed! Well done!

Morning to you and your Jack!! Love a little Poundland mooch!! You were very good sticking to your budget....Poundland is one of those places that just draws me in and before you know it i have a basketful of home decor and snackz and stationery that i dont need!!! So well done you!! I use a good few bits from that make up range myself, trial and error to begin with to find out whats good and works for you, but its really decent. Have a wonderful Sunday, thanks for sharing. Love Lou in Southport xx

What was the harissa lamb like? I’ve seen those jars of paste in Lidl but haven’t tried them yet.

I use the £1 hair dye-it is as good as any of the more expensive ones. Be careful about food in there-the packages are smaller. I find them expensive for food.

Good. I know it came out a bit darker than expected. I always use dark brown so mines nearly black anyhow. There are some great things at low prices. Sort of pot luck what you find

Hi lady R love your hair today back of your face. How jammy was that finding 20 pounds !! I normally lose it rather than find it . Have you actually never been to poundland before ?? The homeware is fab dont even start me on the snacks and mugs. I have banned myself from buying mugs and candles. Duvet was a absolute steal . Vlog abit of the clothes sale tommorrow if you can that would be really interesting to see. Going to watch ur colab with claire next px

I have just thrown out mascara and eye liner because i realised that i hadn't worn it for well over a year. I was wondering where i would buy some more from - if i needed to (say a wedding or official photo - at 66 i dont wear make up on an everyday basis except for lipstick ( and then only if its got a hight sunscreen factor)). Thanks for your review of Poundland stuff - as its cheap and i might not wear it again before a 'throw out' date, ifvut is ok, then it will do for such an occasion!

All your pork fat, or as you called it, waste, can be cooked down till it melts. You have then made your own lard!
