DUDE. At 5am in the morning on omegle a guy 15 years older than me with a pet baby pig recommended me this song...and I will always thank him for showing this awesome song.
there aren't that many "good" moments in my life...all i remember are the bad ones...but strangely this song reminds me off all the times i actually enjoyed my life... Those moments that plant a smile on my face, that makes my spine shiver, my skin tingle, and my soul free. Thank you for reminding me whats good in life.
I come here every year a different person. But it's good to know that this song always instills in me the immense desire and burning want to soar! thank you we were promised jetpacks!
Been coming back.. over a decade. I've shared the love of this song/band with 4 brothers, 2 fiances, one ex wife and countless friends. There's never a bad time to listen.. wether it's to rock-out, work-out, drive, or escape. But careful of when and where to listen to "It's Thunder and It's Lightning"- hits me hard every time.
This is one of the most memorable songs I've ever heard. I always have the melody in my head. I honestly don't think I'll ever forget this song. It's epic enough to be heard in a stadium, it's a masterpiece.
After 15 years, last night I realised that the band name meant to say that they ought to obtain jetpacks in some kind of job or future. I had always erroneously thought that the band were some kind of 'promised ones' that coincidentally wear jetpacks, something like super hero jesus angels! Thank you brain!
When you can listen to a band over and over again without getting tired of the lyrics or the song itself, thats when you know the music is pure goodness. & this band just about fits.
I LOVE this unique song! I rarely remember a song I heard in a movie but when QUIET LITTLE VOICES began playing in the background during the movie HALL PASS, I was intrigued from the first few beats. So intrigued that I remembered the song title and the band's name so I can come here and hear it again & again to my hart's content. (My gratitude to the producers of HALL PASS for forking out the extra cash for the subtitle feature!)
I was clearing out some songs from my iPod touch...yes I still use one haha and I came across this gem that I totally forgot about. I thank this song and band for being around a pivotal point in my life and inspiring me musically
I felt the wind from the wings of an angel. I turned my head to see it motioning me to my laptop. I sat down and looked up this song. That's what brought me here...
Holy shit I'm 34 and been a punk rocker since I was 13. Been through every single related genre from indie rock to hard-core post hard-core folk punk rock etc etc and am just hearing this. Fucking amazing
Saw these guys on the T break stage at T in the Park 09. Such a passionate performance. Everyone there was enthralled in the whole thing. Great experience.
These guys are truly some of the best music I have ever heard! This song, in particular, got me hooked. I think I'll download their new album now. So bye!
i saw wwpjp with Jimmy eat world about 6 months ago and their music, the sheer devotion of the band just blew me away, today you see t-shirts and hairstyles named after band members and songs, but when music is played for music, not for image it is a feeling of relief and...well sort of a high. its relly something to be treasured. and thats what i think indie bands and some others are trying to accomplish.
Going to the death cab concert tomorrow and I wanted to check out the lineup...turns out they're bloody amazing! So thrilled to see death cab AND those nerds tomorrow!
You were supposed to be big and rise, to become a huge band- and it makes me sad that people like justin Bieber are more famous because theyre good looking. I think that we should listen to what completea us, and mot to what everyones listening to. And im happy ive found this song.
4 am. high as tits on some acid. just jamming this album on my cheap headphones as i walk around the cold dark, streets, watching the town wake up and rise along with the sun. seems like yesterday. now feels like an eternity away.
Take it from a musician who has been playing in many bands for over 14 years; every band wants to get their music heard. The fact that they got this song put into a movie made them a bunch of money, and that is good for all of us, when bands like this make money. It gives hope to the rest of us that we can do what we love, and make a good living doing it @ilyscott I totally agree with you.
