Marudhur Gopalan Ramachandran (17 January 1917 - 24 December 1987), popularly known by the initials M. G. R., was an Indian actor, director, producer, and politician who worked primarily in Tamil films and also served as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu successively for three terms. MGR is a cultural icon in Tamil Nadu and is regarded as one of the greatest and most influential actors the Tamil film industry ever produced.
In his youth, MGR and his elder brother, M. G. Chakrapani, became members of a drama troupe to support their family. Influenced by Gandhian ideals, MGR joined the Indian National Congress. After a few years of acting in plays, he made his film debut in the 1936 film Sathi Leelavathi in a supporting role. In the late 1940's he graduated to leading roles and for the next three decades dominated the Tamil film industry. He became a member of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and rose rapidly through its ranks. He successfully used his popularity as a film hero to build a large political base. In 1972, he left the DMK to form his own party the Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (ADMK). In 1977 he became the chief minister of Tamil Nadu - the first film actor in India to become the chief minister of a state. He remained as chief minister till his death in 1987.
Radha Ravi is an Indian film and television actor, who played supporting roles throughout his career. He is the son of yesteryear actor M. R. Radha and the uncle of Vasu Vikram and half-brother of Raadhika Sarathkumar. He is a former chief member of the South Indian Film Artistes' Association. He is known for his roles as an antagonist in Tamil films and a he acted in Chellamae serial. He is also known for his controversial criticism of other film personalities.

MGR was helpful to many students giving financial help for their studies, One student in my class while in day time used to attend classes, During night time he used to drive cycleriksha and earn money for college fees, This was informed to MGR who immediately sent his secretary and found this was correct news, Immediatly he sent money Rs.300 every month for next three years to that poor student, That is why he is still in the hearts of many who all think him as GOD, though he also did some mistakes in his early life may be unknowingly as human but corrected himself helped many needy people who are all still alive with his memories Long Live MGR fame,
