Yesterday, I was at a dance performance. The owner of the dancestudio used this song as theme of the show "Dreams". Back in the days, like 16/17 years ago, we began with dance at the same school, both as students. Now she has her own dancestudio and her own students. The final of the performance was at this song and she danced her own little piece, SHE ROCK! I couldn't hold my tears back 🥺🫶 Girl, seriously, I wish I could be more proud than this.
I tore up shopping mall cd stores for this album LOL. Long before the internet took over. Heard it in a night club and was HOOKED. Even now in 2019, I still love it.
I'm literally at rock bottom right now, wondering if life is even worth it. I briefly watched parts of Magnolia , I love how throughout the movie this song plays in certain characters cars at certain times. It definitely gives you hope, that no matter how bad or dark it gets, there's always that tiny ray of light, of hope.
Hang in there... when you are at rock bottom the only way is up. Some thing the Doctor told my Mum when my father walk out on her and his four kids for another woman. I'm the youngest of those kids. I'm 60 now and we all did really well.
As Valerie said above: please hang in there. You have to reach the bottom before you can bounce up higher. Hoping you pull through because there is so much beauty in this world and this song is just a little, tiny slice of that beauty and wonder. Sending love your way ❤
Listen to this truth: things can get better and will, this is process of you growing a strenght you cant comprehend at the moment. No one strong has never suffered. Suffering and pain are the foundations of strenght and wisdom. Fight through the pain.
Cannot stop listening to this lately. Had to find it after I couldn’t stop singing it. I don’t know that I’d heard it since elementary school. The 90’s were truly a magical time. I’d give anything to return to that level of optimism and hope for the word again.
They can come true They can come true Move a step closer You know that I want you I can tell by your eyes That you want me too Just a question of time I knew we'd be together And that you'd be mine I want you here forever Do you hear what I'm saying Gotta say how I feel I can't believe you're here But I know that you're real I know what I want And baby it's you I can't deny my feelings Because they are true Dreams can come true Look at me babe, I'm with you You know you gotta have hope You know you gotta be strong Dreams can come true Look at me babe, I'm with you You know you gotta have hope You know you gotta be strong I've seen you sometimes On your own and in crowds I knew I had to have you My hopes didn't let me down Now you're by my side And I feel so good I've nothing to hide Don't feel that I ever could Do you hear what I'm saying Gotta say how I feel I can't believe you're here But I know that you're real I know what I want And baby it's you Can't deny my feelings Because they are true Dreams can come true Look at me babe, I'm with you You know you gotta have hope You know you gotta be strong Dreams can come true Look at me babe, I'm with you You know you gotta have hope You know you gotta be strong I'm not making plans for tomorrow Let's live for tonight I know I want you baby So hold me so tight Put your arms around me You make me feel so safe Then you whisper in my ear That you're here to stay Dreams can come true Look at me babe, I'm with you You know you gotta have hope You know you gotta be strong

But above all, the optimism that our dreams aren't completely hopeless.
Its always been a part of me right from the start during my teenage years in 90s...I badly miss those times...

Miss the 90s
The 90s had everything. What a decade to be part of. Every type of music. I can love you from a distance. Hate is not in my vocabulary. PS. I can say what I want I can be who I wanna be and I can sing to the bushes and leaves and trees up by the waterfall. Positive energy your way from me. Will see you soon when I come and see Michael and your family x
We *need* to return and be the people we were when this song came out. We *have* to become our true selves again, free and pure and good and true. We need to live like this song makes us *feel*
I am 100% with you! Peace, love and light beautiful soul.
Awwww I feel that way too... That's why I had to come back to listen (even tho I sing it in my head almost everyday)...
Growing up I never thought I or the world would be the way it is☹️ I believe this song will be played at my wedding & funeral 💕☮️😇🤗🙏🏾

Maravilhosa e atemporal. Uma das melhores épocas para a música pop. Saudades dos anos 90. 🙌🏻
Was really sick laying in bed and this came on and it brought me to a wonderful place in time! Instantly felt better!
This song meant something very special to me back in 1994....... and still makes me cry every time I hear it :(
JayTech its a magic song
JayTech if you’re the woman i screwed over - please forgive me
The bass line makes this song epic!!
This song is so uplifting and very inspirational
I'm literally at rock bottom right now, wondering if life is even worth it. I briefly watched parts of Magnolia , I love how throughout the movie this song plays in certain characters cars at certain times. It definitely gives you hope, that no matter how bad or dark it gets, there's always that tiny ray of light, of hope.
I hope things get better.
Your share of feels , is a ray of hope !
Thanks for the movie direction also 🎶
Hang in there... when you are at rock bottom the only way is up.
I miss the 90's.

Hitchlover same here
Hitchlover I want it to come back 😢
Same yo 😥
They can come true
They can come true
Move a step closer
You know that I want you
I can tell by your eyes
That you want me too
Just a question of time
I knew we'd be together
And that you'd be mine
I want you here forever
Do you hear what I'm saying
Gotta say how I feel
I can't believe you're here
But I know that you're real
I know what I want
And baby it's you
I can't deny my feelings
Because they are true
Dreams can come true
Look at me babe, I'm with you
You know you gotta have hope
You know you gotta be strong
Dreams can come true
Look at me babe, I'm with you
You know you gotta have hope
You know you gotta be strong
I've seen you sometimes
On your own and in crowds
I knew I had to have you
My hopes didn't let me down
Now you're by my side
And I feel so good
I've nothing to hide
Don't feel that I ever could
Do you hear what I'm saying
Gotta say how I feel
I can't believe you're here
But I know that you're real
I know what I want
And baby it's you
Can't deny my feelings
Because they are true
Dreams can come true
Look at me babe, I'm with you
You know you gotta have hope
You know you gotta be strong
Dreams can come true
Look at me babe, I'm with you
You know you gotta have hope
You know you gotta be strong
I'm not making plans for tomorrow
Let's live for tonight
I know I want you baby
So hold me so tight
Put your arms around me
You make me feel so safe
Then you whisper in my ear
That you're here to stay
Dreams can come true
Look at me babe, I'm with you
You know you gotta have hope
You know you gotta be strong

This reminds me of Sunday afternoons in the 90s as kids when we had just got back home from the beach and it was still sunny outside. We’d put the TV on as soon as we got back and things like this, Desree, Seal etc would play on MCM. Simply eternal memories. 90s forever ❤

Great memory from Gabrielle
This song was released back in '93
7th June 1993
God nearly 31 years old
I remember this from my teenage disco days
Teenage discos aren't really a good memory for me
Their something that I would rather move on and just totally forget
My cousin liked this song. She heard it on the radio in a store and asked me if I knew what it was called.
God rest your soul, Noor, my friend and sister. You didn't deserve the end you got. You were a good girl.
We'll meet again one day.
RIP NOOR.... sorry for your loss BIL T.
