I was at an AMV panel over the weekend at a con, and the organizer played this as his favorite AMV that someone has made over the last year and held it up as a prime example of what top-tier editing looks like. Of course, when I got home, I had to show it to my friends when they were over for drinks. Played it for them in the home theater and everything. They absolutely loved it, particularly the clock countdown throughout the video.

How you are able to flawlessly mix older and newer footage is god tier. This was such a good character profile and I really needed this release for her after seeing the final film. Thanks for the amazing video ;A;

It's impossible to count how many times I've watched this (especially since I set this edit as my wallpaper). I really like how some moments in the visual are combined and how the song combines with Asuka herself, it’s just beautiful, this is the most beautiful thing I’ve watched.
Like others have said, you blended the old and new sources amazingly well. The last 20 seconds really hit me with that "Now *this* is why I love amvs" feeling. Really made me feel my hype for the series like few amvs have done.

I have been watching and making AMVs for about 30 years, and have seen sooooooo many Asuka videos - but this song just is completely perfect for her, and the edit was also perfect. This is so good. Normally I'd be distracted by the use of the lower-quality EoE scenes but you used them so well in terms of tying them to the lyrics or just the overall concept that I barely noticed. Smooth af.
