Hi. Really super as always. Might be worth mentioning that reversing the output on the throttle does not revere the direction of the prop but changes between full and off throttle. This can catch the foolish (me for example) unawares with an instant unexpected runaway throttle. Kind Regards

The explanation about the vbatt telemetry was amazing! Can't wait to add this to my other models. Does 6 seconds work as well on drones and helis as it does on planes?
It's a little bit more dependent on current draw than anything else. That said, I've been using the 6s delay on just about everything: Helis, Quads, Planes, and it's oddly good at getting me on the ground with about 3.8v/c after a few minutes of rest. It could go lower, but I keep a little fuel in the tank in case I need to make a few go-rounds'

Such great info 👍🏻 With the no sag voltage alert I fly multiple quads on the same setup most are 6s and 1 is 4s is there a way I can change voltage with some type of condition essentially recognising 6s/4s or make another model just for 4s? Thank you 6:00
Just use a single cell voltage and pull from one cell instead of the pack. Then you could set 3.6v or whatever for all models. Downside is you are using the value of one cell. Alternatively, you could use a 4s value for all, and just plug your vbat in so you only pickup cells 1-4 no matter what model. That's probably what I'd do.
@@RCVideoReviews Arh yes that will work with my plane as I’ve got single cell tel but I’ve got quads I fly on same model flying 4and 6s, with not individual cel voltage, just make another model for the 4s ones?
Great video as always, quick question. I have a RadioMaster TX 16 S running 2.9 multi protocol. After binding my R88 receiver, if you’re too close to it with the radio it drops reception. Why does it always do that?
Sounds like swamping. Don’t keep your tx too close to your rx. Also check this out: Multi Protocol Module Frequency Fine Tune on Radiomaster TX16s MKII th-cam.com/video/08W8usnP0dA/w-d-xo.html
RxBt is telemetry and is dependent on the receiver you use. In my case it's an ELRS receiver which provides RxBt telemetry. If you're using an ELRS Rx with RxBt, you have to go to the telemetry page and discover sensors. After that, you should see RxBt as an option.
Would there be anyway you would consider making a video showing how to bind and set up a LEMON stabilizer in the RADIO. I know how to adjust and use the stabilizer I just cant seem to set it up on a switch to control it and a knob to adjust it. Grayson hobby did it for the lemon stabilizer PLus but it was in OPEN TX not edgeTX Ive followed their instructions but no go. You have a way of explaining these things that I can understand and follow.
I'm glad I'm able to help. Looking at the manual it says to put a switch on Ch7 or optionally Ch5 and Ch8 is gain. So that's what I would do. Just go into the mixer on Ch7 and set the source to a switch. Ch8, same thing, but use a knob. From there, you just need to figure out if the Lemon wants to see 998us - 2012us or 1500us - 2012us. I suggest joining us on discord for further discussion. Invite link is in every video.
I have a question. @37:00 or so you talk about inverting your outputs. Is there a reason you don't do that for your arm switch instead of setting it -100 in the mixer?
Not really. Good point, based on the philosophy of reversing in outputs this makes sense. I think the mental gymnastics going on in my head were I don't really think of arming/disarm as a broadcast/rf thing (even though it is for ELRS and for models with FCs), I always think of it as a local thing to the radio (as in throttle lock/unlock) so for that reason, I never considered arm as an "output" leaving the radio, so adjustments to me are done before outputs. Anyway, it's a good catch and would certainly do the job. As with most things on EdgeTX, there are a half dozen ways to accomplish things on the radio.
@@RCVideoReviews coming from quads I guess it's just a natural way to do it. Have had to do a bit of thinking with the elrs way of arming and doing something very similar to JB's gazillion modes on one aux thing. 😅 Currently working on a long range atomrc dolphin that getting converted to functional v-tail
Thank you for always providing good information. I have one question for you. I always use the independent trim for Flight Mode when setting up flaps. In this case, a delay of 1 second is given to the flap servo, and a delay of 1 second is also given to the mode change so that the flap moves gradually. The recently set F-16 plane is used with the Elevator set to Flapperon and the Elevator set to Elevon, but there is no problem with the operation, but I could not find a way to give a 1 second delay. Is there any good way to solve it?
Thank you for your comments. But I haven't been able to figure out the right way yet. It works slowly with the edge feature you mentioned. However, it works only as long as the time set at the bottom and returns to its original position. what did I do wrong? I'm planning to set up the Freewing F-14 with flaperons to the ailerons. I don't want to operate with a control surface that moves in an instant. I am asking for your help. Thank you.
EdgeTX is not the sole determining factor of supported RF protocols. It depends on the RF transmitter module in your radio too. For example, ELRS transmitters can bind with ELRS protocol receivers and nothing else. The 4in1 module can bind with receivers using the protocols on this page: github.com/pascallanger/DIY-Multiprotocol-TX-Module/blob/master/Protocols_Details.md
This is so confusing to a noob like me. I think I get the gist of it tho. I'm looking to get a tx16s, does that need additional modules to be used or does it operate in some form as standard out of the box? Planning to fly a conscendo evolution 1.5 with it if it is compatible.
In the video, find the section for mode, repeat that on the retracts channel using a 2 position switch or a slider (which is what I use). Just put one switch on the mix line connected to your retracts.
I have a question, i have this little plane that has 3 modes, beginner, intermediate and manual . What i want is when i put it in manual mode i want a rate of movement and expo just for manual mode only .so when i go lets say back to beginner mode the rate movement and expo aren't there
You have to have rates on all modes. With no rates, you have no movement. You should join discord to discuss further. TH-cam is a terrible platform for dialogue like this. Rates are not assign a channel. If you want whatever rates/expos to travel with your mode switch, you use the mode switch in inputs to make adjustments to rates/expos whatever they happen to be.
You'll have to be more specific. ELRS and 4in1 are both RF transmitters with very different setup procedures. I highly suggest you join my discord. Link is in every video I post.

Tele is a hard coded entry. It's not config/hardware dependent. On my radio it shows up between FM2 and 1RSS.
I'd like to set up your SF16, but I don't find the RxBt value.
Will do! Thank you for your response.@@RCVideoReviews
Currently working on a long range atomrc dolphin that getting converted to functional v-tail
Yeah, if it's going out via RF, outputs is where I usually invert things. Good luck with your Dolphin build.
I jest started using the radiomaster tx16s mark2 v4 and I have firmware 2.7.1 is it ok to update to the new version of firmware 2.9.4
Yes. Newest version is 2.10.2 as of right now.
Make the activating switch a logical switch, define the logic switch as an Edge switch with a delay.
Thank you.
For beginners I need find how bind model with spectrum receiver dsm2
Thanks!
Im kinda new so please excuse me if i ask silly questions.
Can edge tx transmitters bind with almost any aircraft? Or only with certain receivers?
@Doggy-B you need to join my discord. Link is in every video I post.
Thank you. I will indeed. I need a community that helps each other out. Google is not friendly in that regard.
Yet again a good video.
Anyway you could do a video on setting up retracts please.
In the video, find the section for mode, repeat that on the retracts channel using a 2 position switch or a slider (which is what I use). Just put one switch on the mix line connected to your retracts.
How I can set Delta plane ??
I have a question, i have this little plane that has 3 modes, beginner, intermediate and manual . What i want is when i put it in manual mode i want a rate of movement and expo just for manual mode only .so when i go lets say back to beginner mode the rate movement and expo aren't there
Setup your inputs like I did in the video, but instead of using a "rate switch" use your "mode switch"
@RCVideoReviews Ok , I figured it out, thanks for your help
Im a complete noob i have this Transmitter on the way but will this video help me with 4in1 as well or is elrs different setting up? Thanks
You'll have to be more specific. ELRS and 4in1 are both RF transmitters with very different setup procedures. I highly suggest you join my discord. Link is in every video I post.
@RCVideoReviews ok ill join thanks for the reply
I bought a eflite carbon z 150T that has the spektrum receiver pre installed and didnt know if i could use this video to go by since it isn't a Elrs.
I'll be happy to discuss further on discord.
Where do you get the additional sounds?
I make them using the MS Azure TTS service.
@@RCVideoReviews thanks for your reply. How much does this service cost? I would like to give it a shot
when i download and open it it flashes on the screen how can i fix this
You should join discord and elaborate a little. Invite is in the description of every video I post.
How do I get my receiver bound to my transmitter!! Ahhhhh
I hope there make setting up Helicopters easier .
I'm not sure what you mean by this, but I don't know of any efforts to change the heli tab configuration options.
No mention how to create second aileron channel
hate the pointer
Thanks!
Thanks for hitting the tip jar.
Thanks!
You bet! Thanks for hitting the tip jar. Appreciate it.
