Melanie Sander those retired models? For retired models it really depends on luck they are all lurking somewhere in lockers and showcase. Try hobby shops and nakano
@Hot Kustoms Hi, just wonder where can i find kyosho in tokyo and osaka, i will visit tokyo and osaka at the end of this year , kyosho 1/64 diecast model for specific
Iwan Wijaya Sasmita yes Shosen in Akiba. Osaka I’m not sure as I been there only once check out denden town super joshin I spent 2 hours there on diecast
As i know japan has high tax for buying anything.. is it for tourist too? Or there is free tax for tourist? Help me to know because i want go to tokyo next year
Steven the tax free only applies for tourist. Most of the retail stores except hobby shops are japan tax free as what I mention. And as per all tax free shops u need to spent minimum amount usually about 10000 yen
Thank you very much for the video, it has helped me a lot, because I really want to go to Japan and I know that there is a lot of diecast variety and I am a collector, in Spain we only have a store where they sell brands like tomica or greenlight, thanks to true!!!
gamerK4 Hi u are more than welcome! I spent a lot of unnecessary $ in Tomica Shop on my first trip to Japan because that’s all I know. Hence I like to share the knowledge to all collectors who visit Tokyo :) rem to like the video it will come in handy 🍻
Shawn Lee I think u can find them in Toy R Us unlike Tomica Hot Wheels are harder to find but still available in certain stores that is show in my video with Hot Wheels
Hook Dark oh hi thanks for watching! Yes hot wheels are limited in japan but recent years more hot wheels appear. Reseller price hot wheels are high in japan esp in lockers cheers
Hot Kustoms. Thank you very much for answering me, I started to collect now, I see that there are many varieties and years. I prefer to put together the specials, do you know where to buy online, ebay etc a reliable place?
Hi dear Hot Kustoms! I am looking for 1/43 spark formula 1 models. A fellow collector found some shops in japan with those models, but he does not want to give the names/links of them. Do you maybe have some suggestions? Many kind regards from the Netherlands. Cliff
Hi Hot Kustomz, thanks for the info. I'm addicting to Tomica 1:64 Die Cast, and still. From the Top 10 DC Stores in Tokyo above, which store can you suggest to me, considering the most complete collection, and its low price or their discount ??..... I have a plan to visit Tokyo Japan on March 2020. Thanks a lot.
Hi ! Nice Vid :) I would like to ask if you know where I could find a NASCAR shop or just some NASCAR diecast or stuff ? I really need those things ! 😫😅
I really and truly wish it had a TOMICA toys vehicle shop located in my country, Trinidad and Tobago. I want those toy vehicles so badly I've became a huge fan of TOMICA toys
IF you're a serious collector looking for unique diecasts that is not stocked at a large toy store, then forget the Toys-R-Us stores, the Yodobashi store, the Hankuhinkan, and the Tomica store at Tokyo Station. All they have is the run of the mill Tomica stuff for kids. No Tomica Limited Vintage. The 5 best stores for serious collectors are Shu-Stock, Tam Tam (maybe the largest selection of all, many 1/43), I.I. Ado (esp for old Dinky), Ikeda Toy Car, & Gallery Tanaka. Mini Shop Global and Gulliver are super small, so they are limited. The Nakano Mall? There are 2 stores dedicated to diecast there. These shops would blow any shop in America but they are essentially 1 room shops, except for Tam Tam which is like a dept store of 2 floors of hobby craft: trains, B.B. guns, model kits, RC vehicles, and all of Ultraman's villains. The stores w/the biggest variety: Tam Tam, Shu-Stock & Ikeda Toy Car.
