Removing fairings from a Kawasaki Ninja 650

Removal of all fairings from a Kawasaki Ninja 650, including nose cone.
The front nose section was damaged in an "accident" and needed replacing. To get at it, you need to remove both sides and the screen.
The nose is held on by 2 Phillips screws, which to get at you need a long screwdriver, lift up the centre pod section slightly and you can get at them. Whilst it was all apart, I fitted an aftermarket 12volt USB charger with battery voltage display and fitted my wireless quadlock phone mount using the Quadlock Pro Stem mount.
I ordered the nose cone from Colchester Kawasaki (UK) and it cost £330 with the stickers (which you have to order separately and fit yourself! I swapped over all the fittings from the old nose cone and used double sided tape to fix the foam strips. In all, it took 1 1/2 hours to remove the fairings, 2 hours to refit, and another hour or so to fit the chargers. There was nothing complicated, it's just fiddly. I did have to make the hole a couple of mm larger for the USB charger to fit, I used a large cone shaped drill piece. The wiring is already there, the plastic covered connector is the positive +. It is already connected to the ignition switch, so won't drain your battery.
I also took the opportunity to raise my windshield to the highest setting from the lowest, there's actually 3 settings you can have it in.

Reassembling is just the reverse! Be sure to locate the lugs at the top of the side fairings into the holes in the nose section slit them in then slide the fairing backwards 1/2 inch

ow, can you get a little help? which type of quadlock you use? in the quadlock instructions said that stem mount can be used for 12.7 holes or more, but in kawasaki they have only 12mm 6angle hole... I have the same bike but restail with another panel, but all other the same...
