    I've just tried this with my cassava flour, almond being expensive. I made flat bread in the summer and used that recipe to make a roll yesterday. I make a mix and then add liquid to bake each day . They were a bit hard . So I tried adding some bicarb of soda, dried egg white and cider vinegar . I also used the boiling water as you say . ( with the oven preheated well ) It has worked really well, Thankyou. I want to try adding yeast for flavour next time . K

      This is a very old video. In newer videos all the measurements are in grams for accuracy. I still provide the cup and spoon measurements as it's been requested. You can refer to my other keto bread recipes (I have over 75 videos) at the playlist for the measurements in grams for all the ingredients

    • @brandonfredenburg8343
      @brandonfredenburg8343 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      When cooking, the spoon and cup measurements are always “flat” - like you scraped across the top with the back of a knife. When you have a squishy solid measured in cups, like peanut butter, banana, pumpkin, softened butter, or sour cream, use a spatula to mash it into the cup measure. That way you don’t get air pockets.

    Hello, I have tried the recipe twice and both times the buns rose but deflated as soon as I took them out of the oven. What do you suggest I do differently?

    • @lowcarbrecipeideas
      @lowcarbrecipeideas  ปีที่แล้ว

      It could be due to the baking powder or baking soda. I have personally experienced switching my regular baking soda (Marks & Hammer) when it ran out of stock and the new one I used made the buns rise so much until they looked like they could explode anytime then deflate when out of the oven. When I switched back to my regular brand, no problem. Also it could be due to too much psyllium husk. If you are using psyllium powder then only a small amount is needed like 1 to 2 tsp. This is an old recipe and I actually have a version 2.0 so please check it out here;
