- Hey guys, here's my full D.I.Y time lapse video of the studio. This whole studio was constructed by myself except for the AC and glass installation.
This project took me about 5 months to complete. It was fun, tiring and some injuries came together with it. Hope you guys enjoy watching this!

Very nice. I think I'm going to be doing something similar here soon. Did you have to drill into the floor to attach the bottom sill plate for the wall studs?
Thanks. Yup I drilled the floor and ceiling to mount the metal studs brother.
@@brandongomez2925 I'm not sure that will work where I'm building. I think I'll have to put in a subfloor and screw the studs to that.
Thanks for answering though! Your studio looks great.
boooooooommmbbbb!
Great job. How did you make the floor sound proofed. Did you have any issues sound leaking from the floors to outside environment?
Thanks Tayfun. For the flooring I only used a Pe foam below the laminate. I don't have much issues sound leaking from the floor. There's no tenant below me and the sound can't hear from outside the building as well. There's a walkway around the studio so the sound gets trap in between the studio walls and windows.
Respect sama u
Wowwww..noice bro! how long does this take u to finish?
Thanks man, it took me about 5 months bro
How did u manage to do all of this in only 6 minutes
Hi Bro,
01.did you drill the wall or the ceiling or even the floor for fixing the frames? Or can we do the wall & ceiling sound proof without actually damaging them?
02. How did you managed to build the partition brother? It also holds the see through Glass and the sound proofed door as well.
Please lemme have a clarity as my owner has issues with damaging the space & am concerned about the perfection. Do help me bro.
Hi bro, yup, I went ahead and drilled holes into the walls and the ceiling. This was to insert the wall plugs and screws which would secure the frame. I wouldn't really recommend using alternatives like glue. If you ever decide to take it down in the future, all you need to do is remove the screws and wall plugs, then do a bit of plastering and painting, It will look just fine.
As for the partition, I used a 12mm plasterboard with 60 grams of rockwool placed on it. I made sure to leave a one-foot gap between the two partition boards. A 6 inch gap would also do if you dont have enough space. It's important to ensure that the partition is securely attached to both the walls and the floor.
I used a 1-inch thick plywood for the large tempered glass and as for the door I used a timber door frame. Just make sure that the frames are fastened well to the floor and the ceiling bro :)
How much did it cost totally?
bro was that a non adhesive vinyl flooring?
Hi bro, yup it's non adhesive. I'm using 8mm laminate flooring :)
i wish i could learn from you so bad!! if you make a patreon i will suscribe!!
do metal framing makes noise when vibrate while recording drums or bass?
Hi bro, it doesn't vibrate. I applied silicone between the metal frames touching the ground and the concrete, including the ceiling :)
Have to paint everything 2 times man lol
Yup I painted everything 2 times but recorded once man 😄
Power pack like power rangers bro.
Link for the materials you use please
Hi bro, I picked up my materials at a nearby dealership. You can find the list of materials I used in the description :)
What are the room sizes you built?
Hi D.M.H Productions Studio,
Here's the size of the rooms below :)
Live room = 27f X 22f
Control room = 16f X 11f
Sir What kind of sheets you used at 2:48 . Kindly tell me …
Hi Prod. Subbi, that material I used is a sound insulation foam :)
Hey remember what the est. cost?was?
Sq ft? Lastly ceiling height before treatment?
Hi! the total cost came up to 10 grand Malaysian Ringgit. The live room is approximately 500 sqft, while the control room is around 192 sqft. The gap between the concrete and the new ceiling is about 1.5 feet, with the untreated distance from the ground to the concrete ceiling is 12 feet :)
Can you come build mine lawd I’m a girl I can’t even begin this lol
Please Show Howe the Windows of the Regie room is Build
Hi bro, I built the frame accordingly and I had to hire someone else to install the glass window between the live room and control room since each glass weighs 120kg :)
Man point 60+
