Oh, interesting, I just got rid of brass. I swapped out my paint splattered, tarnished brass hinges and dated round brass knobs for matte black versions. I had a painter remove the doors, take them to his shop and sand and spray them with a bright, untinted white. When he reinstalled the doors, he installed the new hardware. Best money I spent recently on home improvements. I've wanted levers for a long time.

I’ll add the at the design for privacy locks differs from one manufacturer to another. I replaced my hardware as well with Baldwin handles and the locking mechanism and latch parts are very different. Still just as easy to install; they all are. Just note not all handles are created equal.
lol why didn’t you get rounded hinges? I swapped all my builder grade hardware out the first year we moved it. Huge change! Made it look so much more lux and custom.
there are plenty of options in every price range. these are more expensive because they're solid brass, but you can find other that are cheaper on Amazon, Home Depot, etc.

I love the handles. Very elevated. And I agree with you; the black door takes it to the next level!
I swapped out all Door Handles knobs and hardware in July and it was liberating and so simple to do.

What would you recommend for those closet? Doors that you pull to open and close.I'm not sure if that makes sense.

we painted all the doors black but didn't change hardware yet. Just the black doors elevated the look and will look for some exquisite door handles.

I think I have more than double that lol and I did it! you can too 😉 changing handles only takes about 5 minutes per door
